The wait time in the office or in waiting room takes forever. No one even has the courtesy to stop by and exxplain how much longer the wait time will be. My last visit Aug. 27,2024 I waited an hour and finally had to leave without seeing the doc.

We HIGHLY recommend Dr. Dan McBride. He's the best
Dr. McBride is a jewel: ALWAYS most friendly, kind , personable, thoughtful & informative, & once directed us to USWMC urology for a consult to see if they had any further ideas that might be helpful with my condition.

A doctor who cares!
He took the time to explain and illustrate his recommendations after listening (which is rare nowadays). Him and his staff seem to really care about his patients. I have recommended him to others and they were just as satisfied.

Great Doctor with an excellent bedside manner
I have been seen by several Urologists and many other doctors over the years, Dr. McBride has one of the best Doctor-Patient relationships of any that I've had with other doctors. Dr. Mcbride takes the time to listen and find out what the patient needs and is always as gentle as possible.

Doctor great, staff terrible.
I’ve been seeing Dr. McBride for at least 15 years and am very pleased with his level of care. From low T to prostatitis, kidney stones, and prostrate biopsy he is a caring, competent, and compassionate doctor as is his medical assistant. My one complaint against him is his sometimes excessive wait times. My comments however do not apply to his office staff who seldom return calls, fail to submit prescriptions to my supplier, and for the most part act as if the doctor’s patients are an inconvenience.

Dr McBride and his office upon arrival were very rude. I chose to wear my own mask and was compliant with every sign and rule within the office. After I declined a paper mask that the nurse handed me, she excused herself mumbling “you’re going to be a problem” and informed Dr McBride who then opened the door, said he was called out and I would be rescheduled and left. I was left in the room, no one came to speak with me. After I asked if someone would be seeing me the nurse advised that she didn’t know when I would be rescheduled. I requested she tell me the results of my ct scan and she advised that I have an 11.7mm kidney stone. I’ve been in a lot of pain for quite some time and the lack of care and rudeness and dismissive care that I received simply because I preferred my own mask is unacceptable

Called for an appointment as a new patient, was told they don't accept my insurance. I explained that's fine, I can pay, so my appointment was scheduled - 2 months out. When that day arrived, after a 25 minute drive and after filling out patient forms in advance, when I arrived in the office, and waited a considerable time, I was told the doctor couldn't see me because they don't accept my insurance! I explained - again! - that I'm perfectly capable of paying via cash or credit card, but was told "no." Something they could have told me months ago!

I have been a patient of Dr. McBride for about eight years. The first issue that I had was bladder stones which he removed with great success with little discomfort. The second issue that I had was an enlarged prostate which required surgery and was done successfully also. Dr. McBride and his staff has always treated me with the utmost professionalism and courtesy, and this Doctor knows what he is doing.

The office manager and the person running insurance should communicate with each other because neither of them know What the other is telling clients. The office manager Is now telling clients. They must come out of pocket for any procedures even approved by insurance. They are trying to grab your money, and said If they get reimbursed, they will reimburse the client. This goes against what they tell you on your consultation and then switch the billing process a week before your appointment. The doctor tells you if insurance is approved they will cover 100% of the procedures and the medicine. If insurance is not approved Then you come out of pocket. They ran my insurance, everything was approved, they called and told me, It was completely covered by insurance. One week before appointment. The office manager calls and starts telling me how I need to pay in advance Before the procedure because insurance doesn't cover All of the medication. I asked why the insurance person Told me

Went to see Dr McBride about BPH. I told him I was interested in TURP. He did a few test over the last few months due to other appointments of mine. We set up a surgery appointment on this last Monday. Surgery went great and I was released today. I go back in a week for a follow up. Dr McBride is a very compassionate professional guy and is straight to the point. It may take a little extra wait but I feel he is worth it. A Big Salute from an old career Veteran

Wonderful experience. Underwent a vasectomy and the doctor was professional, calming and friendly. I felt nearly nothing during the procedure and I was very nervous prior to. The office was nothing but professional and with such a "delicate" procedure I felt I was in good hands. Could not recommend Dr McBride enough

They have long wait times. Dr. McBride is fine if you’re lucky enough to see him. However, his staff is atrocious, lacking professionalism, knowledge, common sense, compassion, and empathy. Person answering the phone is inexperienced operator who only takes messages and transfers calls to extensions no one ever checks. There appears to be large turnover of employees. Never a good sign. Cannot recommend.

I have been a patient with Dr McBride for several years. I have always found him and his staff to be excellent in their responsiveness and caring. I'm most impressed by the fact that the clock doesn't govern his attention to my needs. I tend to take my time to discuss issues and he never pushes me along like some physicians I know. I consider them true professionals, there to help as healing friends.

Dr. McBride has been my physician for four years. He was recommended to me and following through on that recommendation proved a good decision. He always takes time to discuss lab results, my overall health listening to my input, and takes time for conversation. An appointment with Dr.McBride feels more like a visit with a friend. I am completely satisfied with the care delivered by Dr. McBride and completely trust in his decisions. Compliments to his staff also.

He attended me in a hospital. He was condescending and contemptuously dismissive of my questions and concerns, seemed angry and hostile, and was verbally abusive to both the nurse and me. I switched to another surgeon.

Have been a patient of his for several years. I think he is terrific. I have found him always to be pleasant, friendly, and highly competent. He cares about his patients and with me he has often gone beyond what i might have expected. Yes, sometimes the office is crowded, but when he gets behind it is because somebody has had a more severe problem than anticipated. I have been to other urologists and I trust none like I trust Dr. McBride.

I had an in-office procedure after which I was supposed to be sent home with antibiotics. They never gave me a prescription. Two days later I was in the ER with a UTI. Another time, they sent me home with sample medication that was over a year expired. Finally, on the last visit, Dr. McBride came in and seemed really angry. He was short and dismissive of questions and concerns. He read his phone while I was talking. Cut me off and walked out of the office. Never again. So arrogant.
