Nice enough
Dr. Edwards is a very nice person but the visits always felt rushed and fairly robotic. Not a lot of personal touches and not enough asking questions. I feel you can tell a lot about a physician by the type of questions s/he asks and watching how they listen. Most of our visits consisted of her talking about topics I was already familiar with and really missed the mark as far as connecting with the patient. Missed opportunity, oh well.

I was referred to Dr. Edwards through a friend and was extremely disappointed. Her nurse was very pleasant and understanding. However, Dr. Edwards was not. She was not personable, and was not very kind to the patient’s requests/needs. She, instead, made the patient feel that it was their fault for feeling the way they do.

Edwards has been my obgyn for over 10 yrs, she takes the time to listen, explains clearly and is genuine. I am sad she has left bakersfiled expecially because i just found out i am pregnant 1st pregnancy and she wont be delivering.
