I was obviously extremely fearful after receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer. After being recommended & then meeting with Dr. Holwitt, my anxiety was greatly reduced. She got it! She, herself was a Breast Cancer Survivor & knew what was needed clinically, as well as, emotionally. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, sensitive, tactful & kind. She explained everything in the greatest of detail, yet in a thorough, yet friendly patient manner. If you are unfortunate to be diagnosed with this disease, do yourself a favor & have Dr. Holwitt treat you, for you will never have to be concerned about the quality of care you are receiving. You are in the very best hands possible along with emotional support unlike any other. Very Grateful Patient!

I have been a patient of Dr. Dana Holwitt's since 2017. Dr. Holwitt helped me during a difficult time. From the moment I met her I knew that I was in the right hands! Dr. Holwitt has always given me the time that I needed during an appointment , never trying to rush me. I feel lucky to have her as my doctor.

Dr.Holowitt is exceptional. I had recently moved from Virginia to NJ and I couldn’t be more pleased in the surgeons I selected for continuity of care for my breast surgeries and care. As a physician myself, my expectations are already more that average. Dana Holowitt is truly a phenomenal human being. She is empathetic and down to earth. She connects with the patients to ensure they really understand what is going on. She is not about the money but truly about being there for her patient and offering the best options for her patients. She aims at delivering to best results for patients. She is a fine, meticulous and thorough surgeon. More importantly she is super humble, not full of herself or trying to code as much as possible. My mother was recently diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer and she was referred to Dr. Holwitt. From the moment we step into her office, Dr. Holwitt took her time, and explained to us everything from A to Z on what the diagnosis is, how it will be treated and how she can recover safely. My mom felt safe and trusted Dr. Holwitt with her life. She was heaven sent. I appreciate all she has done for my mother. She made my mother’s health her top priority. We are thankful for her.

Dr Holwitt made me feel at home, she was patient and took her time to help me understand all of my concerns. The staff was very professional.

Very informative surgeon. She makes the effort to connect with her patients and educate them on the plan of care. She presented all options instead of jumping to surgery as the only treatment. Highly recommend her!!

Dr. Holwitt is thorough, precise, kind, and has a refreshingly direct and transparent communication style. Walked me (22-23 yrs old at the time) through a biopsy and then an excision procedure for a benign fibroadenoma. Felt completely at ease with the process. Highly recommend Dr. Holwitt!

Five stars for my experience with Dr Holwitt, She and her staff were very kind and very helpful with all the questions that i had Dr Holwitt is very thorough and does not rush your time with her at all. I am having biopsy done by her in the next few weeks and am very comfortable that she is the one performing it.

I have been going to Dr. Holwitt since 2015. She has always been extremely caring with a great bedside manner. I recently had surgery and was very anxious. Dr. Holwitt took her time with me and made me feel confident that I would have a good surgery experience, which I did. She is an excellent physician/surgeon and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Holwitt is absolutely the best. She is the most patient and kind doctor I have ever encountered. I cannot describe how blessed I am to have her; she truly is the best of the best from initial diagnosis through surgery and beyond.

Dr. Holwitt is an amazing, compassionate, and skilled doctor and surgeon. Her bedside manner goes beyond anything I've ever experienced, and her genuine care for her patients is immediately noticed and felt. She takes her time, listens sincerely, puts you at ease, and answers all of your questions. I've never felt rushed during an appt, and any concerns I ever had, were consistently met with compassion, professionalism, and a well thought our plan of care. If you ever need a breast surgeon, you want Dr. Holwitt!

Of the three breast surgical oncologists I have worked with, I appreciated Dr Holwitt best. She was the only one who fully informed me of my options and took my treatment priorities into consideration. Just as we were about to move forward with surgery, my calls started going unanswered. Then I discover that it was just a contract dispute that caused it all, and she wasn’t allowed to contact her patients. I’ve never felt like such chattel, and over a contract of all things. It was beyond upsetting to have to start over with another doctor, and her office was not helpful transferring records. I had to drive over an hour to hand them a threatening letter because they wouldn’t just fax the things to the new provider. And bear in mind this is cancer, and I’m not the only patient who was put in that position. So the bottom line to my review is: Dr Holwitt is awesome, if you can find her. The Health System she was affiliated with in October 2019: not awesome.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Holwitt! Her and her staff have been amazing throughout my mom's breast cancer diagnosis. They go above and beyond to help ease you through a very tough process. I am so grateful we were referred to Dr. Holwitt!

I am so fortunate to have Dr. Holwitt as my surgeon after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She is down to earth, very professional, and has excellent bedside manner. Dr. Holwitt and Stacy made me feel secure in my decisions and treatment and we're very supportive through the most difficult time in my life. When I go into the office now it feels like family. Dr. Holwitt saved my life and I am so grateful for her.

She is the most amazing young woman I have had the gift of meeting. I say gift because she saved my life. She listen to me and honored my wishes. I feel she treats more then your disease. She treats your family too. I just can't say enough about her an her staff. Just be patient they are busy. You will the get answers to your questions. Plain and simple I love her and her staff. I thank God my journey got me to her.

Horrifying experience! She and staff were so rude, unprofessional and unorganized that I walked out, after waiting over 2 months for the appointment.

She was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable. She took the time to study and understand my case and results from previous years/doctors. She was very confident on what i had was a Fibroadenoma but wanted to make sure nothing else was hiding behind that lump in my right breast. I went home without a worry. After the biopsy was performed, I received a call in less than 24 hours to tell me it was in fact a benign fibroadenoma. Thank you, Dr. Holwiit! Now, I'm ready to become a mom now =)
