Dr. Zappetti took enough time with me to have a real conversation and respect my input. She is very supportive and also very knowledgable, which made for a truly exceptional visit. I evey am willing to fight my night owl instincts to try to make my next appointment with her, which will be at 9 a.m.! She is in high demand, as she should be.

Her concern for her patients surpasses understanding, yet it fits with her character and profession. She has been great with my Pulmonary care and shows a deep concern for my situation. I trust her professional judgment. I would recommend 110%.

I saw Dr Zappetti after some issues were identified on a chest Xray. I feel so lucky to have seen her. She is thorough and kind. I felt completely heard and reassured about next steps. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending her! A tip for other patients: if you were in the area close to the World Trade Center on or in the months after 9-11, do yourself a favor and look into the WTC Health Fund.

Dr Zapetti was on time for my appointment and spent a lot of time with me. It was obvious she had thoroughly reviewed my previous doctor’s records since she was familiar with my history at my first visit. She interviewed me further for additional information, then explained in detail the possible cause of my condition. I left with a better understanding of my condition and treatment options. She’s extremely patient and answered my questions. I never felt rushed.

My experience with Dr. Zappetti was excellent. I met with Dr. Zappetti three times in the last several months as I had developed Asthma following a severe bout of allergies last summer. The appointments were never rushed, the check in process was very efficient and the appointments were always on time. Her staff were friendly. Dr. Zappetti took time with the initial diagnosis and reviewing my medical history. She spent time discussing, explaining and reviewing options for further testing and a treatment plan, which ended up working very well for me. I highly recommend Dr. Zappetti.

Good diagnostician, but expect 5-10 extra hours of red tape & bc the office is disorganized & dysfunctional. The nurse takes outside CDs in a hurry, Dr Z reads them in another room, loses them so have to reorder & resend them several times. The staff asks for records. After I spent several hours sending them, Ayesha said Jose misinformed me. She was nasty & lots of back & forth. When I reminded her conversations are recorded, she changed her tune. They keep inaccurate records, Dr. Z forgot to note I was having troublme breathing & didn't recall me saying that at my appointment. I had my appointment with Dr Z with some other elser guy I never met. I could only message him: not her. Dr. Zapetti's chairman of Weill Cornell so expect politics big time & the hospital backs her up. Unless you have a lot of time to waste,est to go elsewhere
