Dr. Daniel Acevedo, MD

After having a failed surgery in 2023 by a SCOI doctor, I was referred to Dr Acevedo by another shoulder surgeon from SCOI. Based on how young he looked, I was not sure what to expect. However Dr Acevedo did a great job on my revision surgery. After a month in recovery, I began to see improvements in terms of the level of pain. I now understand why Dr B from SCOI referred me to him.

Dr. Acevedo was excellent with explaining the procedure, performing my reverse right shoulder replacement. The visits after have been 100% accurate with the healing process. Dr. Acevedo, Thank you for giving me pain free new life.

He is an excellent surgeon, professional, compassionate and caring. I am 72 years old and had my left shoulder replacement in February and my right shoulder done in June. Great results with both surgeries. He explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions. He followed up with me regularly and made sure I was comfortable and satisfied with my recovery. I highly recommended him to anyone who needs shoulder surgery. He is the best!

From the day he was assigned as the surgeon for my rotator cuff repairs/surgeries on both shoulders he has always had AWNSOME customer service and a GREAT listener. If it wasn't for me being at the end of my therapy sessions I would follow Dr Acevedo to his private practice.

Dr. Acevedo has been very informative throughout. He makes sure I understand everything and has gone above and beyond with my recovery. I am sad to see him leave my Kaiser. If I ever need anything treated related to his specialty I will definitely go back to him.

He is kind and understanding, listens to all your concerns and what you need to say. Explains everything in detail in a way anyone can understand. Very professional but personable. Never rushes you out till completely done listening and taking about your issues , one of if not the best Dr I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. How kind and thorough he is. If I could give him 20 stars I would. When I was assigned to Dr. Acevedo for shoulder replacement I was told multiple times that he was the BEST doctor for that that anyone had EVER seen. And I believe it!

Dec. 14, 2022 I had a total shoulder replacement that Dr. Acevedo performed. Today was my 3 mth check up....my surgery site is practically invisible which I'm amazed at and my shoulder is so much better. I'm not in pain anymore ...sometimes just it aches and minimal discomfort. I had put this surgery off for more than 6 yrs....I can assure you this was the best decision I made....Dr Acevedo is the best. I recommend him wholeheartedly! He explains everything and treats you with courtesy and kindness. Had I not been so scared of this surgery...I can tell you I should have done it sooner. I'm so very pleased with the results and am so grateful for this doctor. I'm forever indebted to him.

Broke my collarbone and he did a great job fixing it, he explains everything so it’s easy to understand and he’s a cool guy I highly recommend him.

Total shoulder replacement, 6 weeks out and have reached 75% of my FINAL motion targets, no pain. If you’re thinking about shoulder surgery, Dr. Acevedo should be far, far at the top of your list of orthopedic surgeons. Unfortunately, I’m experienced with sports injuries - knees both sides, 5 total ops - and this my 2nd shoulder (only replacement). Far and away the best, most successful outcome of all 7 surgeries.
