Dr. Daniel Asihene, MD

Dr. Asihene was able to get my health back on track. He’s a great doctor. (This is coming from a guy that doesn’t go to doctors.) He’ll surely be missed.

Amazing doctor, he takes the time to answer any questions you have. Very helpful, trust his medical advice :-)

I am a new patient and Dr. Asihene was thorough and went well beyond a normal office visit. He discussed my previous conditions and evaluated the need for some changes in medications. He evaluated my health history and needs for additional diagnostic procedures that had not been performed. He provided two vaccinations that I had missed and had them given to me during my visit. After I mentioned some minor hearing issues he actually cleaned my ears and prescribed medication for the condition. He spent significantly more time with me than I had ever had or expected. I highly recommend Dr. Asihene to anyone.

I have seen Dr Asihene in the past, he is very smart doctor! With that being said he not the right fit for me. He never responds to my messages I always have to wait like a week for an answer which I find a little ridiculous. He doesn’t have any bedside manner’s at all! It’s like he’s talking down to you the entire time! So I did switch to a different pcp in the practice because the staff there is amazing!!

Extremely thorough. Provided several opportunities to ask questions. Appointment was on time. Explicit instructions given on issues requiring follow up.

Dr. Asihene was attentive, courteous and knowledgeable. Phenomenal bed side manner and treated my son and I equal to him, which you don't get every day. I've had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Asihene and peers (Dr. Shah and Dr. Palat) for several years I'm always happy with the assessment and plan of action. Same day appointments are also a bonus. Staff on the phones are quick to know why and get you in as needed, the ladies at the front all the way to the phys. Assistants are always friendly and courteous. Great teamwork!

Dr. Asihene is an excellent doctor. He listens intently and makes good diagnosis decisions. He genuinely cares about his patients. 5Stars for sure

My Wife needed a perscription refill and called into Pharmacy. Turns out our Physician is out on leave and Dr. Asihene told my Wife she would need to come into the office for a urine test first, not withstanding the pandemic. When she arrived and completed her urine test as this Dr. insisted, he began to humiliate her about the medication, and talk down to her. The persciption he called in was for half the amount of the medication. Dr. Asihene might be a physician, but my Wife of 40 years is a human being and does not deserve to be spoken down too. My next note will be to Jefferson health to make them aware that they have a physician in their system that patients are far below the level of being a human being.

Appointment on 1/5/2021 with Dr Asihene at Tillman Family Medicine telehealth visit and he told me that I may have myeloproliferative neoplasm and thrombocytosis and may need bone marrow biopsy and will need see a hematology oncologist. He needed to do further research on my case and speak with my hematologist and told me that he would call me back that night on next steps on my medical treatment plan. It is now 2/15/2021 and I have yet to hear from him. I have called his office several times and one of the front desk clerks, Jennifer I believe, even told me that she would leave a message and extra sticky note on his desk to call me back. I have been a patient at this practice for many years and cannot believe how poorly I am being treated. I would like a different doctor to take over as my primary and would appreciate respect and a sense of urgency and professionalism in managing my medical care. I called this office again today-no answer; had to leave another message.

Phenomenal physician. Takes time to explain and discuss all if your concerns and really get to know you as a patient.

He only cares about his reputation. He never returns phone calls especially when your wanting to know results from tests he’s ordered. He has a terrible bedside manner and he has a huge ego. He’s not honest with his patients at all!

I always feel seen and heard at my appointments with Dr. Asihene. I look forward to our appointments and each time I leave, my questions are answered and my spirits are lifted. He has a wonderful bed side manner and makes you feel you are on the same level.

Staff was courteous and the wait time was reasonable. Dr. Asihene showed professional compassion, clarity of his tx goals for me and a supportive patient/Dr. interaction. His ability to express medicine in layman's terms is appreciated. I would certainly recommend him to others who are seeking a primary physician.

Dr. Asihene saw my husband for tph first time yesterday as a new patient. He was wonderful explained things and addresses both of us during the visit. He took his time with us. I made a request for my appointment to be with him as well.

Dr. Asihene took the time to review years of medical history to get to the root of the problem. Most recently help my 8yr old son. I trust Dr. Asihene to do what's best for my family. Listening and taking his time with each visit shows his passion for this field!!

Great doctor didn’t make me feel stupid about any questions I asked him and seemed to really care about his patients. He even told me when I was concerned he wouldn’t let anything happen to me and that I would be okay.
