Greedy
Greedy. I drove an hour to get here TWICE because their front desk kept messing up. First time they told me they wrong time, owned up to it, apologized, but Dr. Bell still couldn’t see me that day. He could only fit me in a month later. Fine, I get it. A month goes by, I get the appointment, I drive an hour, there’s traffic, and I’m 16 minutes late. After waiting in line for patients to check in, I’m 22 minutes late. Dr. Bell won’t see me, and I’m out of medicine. Instead, he wants $100. I ask the front desk if I still pay if I’m not rescheduling with them, I’m out of medicine, and i showed up fine to their “first” appointment they told me incorrectly about? Yep yep yep, Dr. Bell still wants his $100 because I’m late *this time. Dr. Bell is out of touch. $100 might not be a lot to him, but it’s certainly making bills a lot more difficult for me. I understand the penalty to have someone no show—but after your front desk screwed it up? That’s greedy.

Love this doctor! He actually came out to the waiting room and took me back. I was impressed, I could not believe a doctor actually did this. He is sharp, pays attention to details on reports, etc., and follows through. He will endeavor to find the root cause and succeeds. There are too many physicians who write an RX for each complaint, but not Dr. Bell. He is a great physician with an awesome personality.

He’s a horrible doctor, a narcissist who cares only for himself. He will push you into a study, and if you don’t qualify, you will be done getting any treatment from him.

We are new to St. Petersburg and my husband saw Dr. Bell for an evaluation. My background is in the medical field and have encountered 100's of physicians on a personal and professional level and I have never been more impressed with a doctor; personable, professional and thorough. Touched all the based and picked up the slack that our other new physicians have missed. Office staff very friendly and efficient.

I suffered with severe back pain for several years, and occasionally had the frightening experience of suddenly feeling like my legs would not support me. We found Dr Bell using Health Grades and drove across the county to see him. We are so glad we didn't not limit our search based on geography. Dr. Bell is outstanding in every way.

Had an appointment with Dr. Bell for my mother that we waited 2 months for. Got there 20 minutes early to do paperwork. Waited over a half hour after appt time only to be called to the desk and told that we were late and would need to reschedule. Told the girl we were not late in fact early and what is going on? She seemed embarrassed but said that is what the Doctor said and that we were going to be charged for a missed appointment also. I have never been treated so rudely or unprofessionally!

Wonderful doctor. He listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. He ordered the appropiate tests and was able to come to a diagnosis after several years of going to different doctors...I would highly recommend Dr. Bell...he is a very caring and professional doctor who treats his patients with kindness and respect.

Dr Bell is a very caring physician, pleasant demeanor, and listened to my issue with fair interest. Took what I thought was a very good history and physical before proceeding with the neurological examination. In all, we spent an hours time, and he sent me for a radiologic exam. While that test was negative, his office tests were positive, and he's taken good care and recommendations to my family doctor. Probably one of the best physicians I've had the pleasure of being treated by.
