very straightforward and clear
In for a standard colonoscopy: Dr Blachman and his staff were kind and put me at ease. It was all very clear from beginning to end--from the intake through the discharge. The day of the procedure moved like clockwork.

Incompetent
Totally incompetent. He gave me a drug that made me so constipated that I not only could not have a colonoscopy, but didn't have a bowel movement for almost a week. My husband and I met with him and he was incoherent regarding the drug he prescribed and suggested he 'try' to do a colonoscopy anyway. Of course, I said no way. He then sent me to get an MRI, which we found out later was useless as a diagnostic for this specific issue. Fortunately, I found another gastroenterologist who was competent to conduct my colonoscopy.

Never again
Never introduced himself before procedure. Joking around with staff outside procedure room. Called his office a couple of days after procedure, left a message for him to please call me.......never heard from him.

The worst Dr I have ever seen!! Very vague about colonoscopy my son had just said inflammation and it was so much worse! Then he ever led on. You get in quick because no one wants to go to them so there’s always an appointment available. He never explained anything that was going on now we’re fighting a horrible diease that could have been avoided.
