Dr. Burkhead is a caring, compassionate, and straightforward doctor. I was searching for a non-narcotic approach to addressing my pain and he helped me understand my options both short and long term. I have since moved out of state and have yet to find a doctor I trust as much as Burkhead.

Dr. Burkhead’s knowledge and positive attention to my spine issues has kept me from needing surgery for years. He listens to and address all of my concerns and fears. I am living pain free and drug free due to his help. I can’t thank him enough for all of his help over the years.

Sometimes you think physicians are caring,but not Dr. Burkhead. He was supposed to give me injection on my L4, L5 and SI joint. When I was under anisthisia he just injected L4-L5 and asked me if I had pain in my SI joint ( Which I do not remember) and skipped the SI joint where was my main pain. Who asks a patient under anesthesia if she has pain or not? I think he wanted to do an unfinished job so that I come back again. Never will go back to him again. He absolutely wasted my time and money.
