Totally unacceptable as a doctor
I have tried for several years to get Dr Cobb and his staff to cooperate in doing their jobs. I have had 2 sleep studies with no results. I have NEVER received supplies for my CPap. I am expected to figure it out and buy what I need on my own. It doesn't matter if I see Dr Cobb or his PA. All I do is spend money and time for office visits that are lip service only. This is the most inept group of people I have ever seen. The indifference to patient's rights and needs is staggering. The ever always excuse that they are very busy but will get back to me falls on deaf ears now. They don't contact insurance providers let alone their patients. Gainesville very badly needs a sleep neurologist people can trust and count on. I have some incredible doctors I think the world of but this practice is dismal at best. The lack of ethic is actually stomach churning.

What a change!
Telehealth
I was really impressed with Dr. Cobb for a couple of years, except for the fact that no one ever answered the phone. I always dreaded having to call there! I saw him once òr twice a year at the most to have my prescription for epileptic medicine renewed... Then recently I've been under a ton of stress with heart issues going on, and test after test. At the same time, Dr. Cobb decides to go and order memory tests for me. Those tests were hard! Because I made an 81, now he wants to put me on a medicine for dementia! But he sends his nurse in to tell me something this serious! I'm not scheduled to see them again for 10 months. But it's with the nurse again. He's obviously too busy or thinks he's too good to see me once a year...Then the very next night, I found out that they'd let one of my medicines run out! She called it in to be here a week later; I needed it the next day! That didn't happen in 30 years with my old doctor! It sure is looking like it's time to move on.

Terrible
Dr. Cobb was rude, dismissive, and belligerent to a 16 year old child whose life is being derailed by the problem we saw him to address. He appeared to make up his mind immediately that her problem was depression and anxiety, and no amount of pointing him to symptoms that indicated otherwise could get him to refocus on the actual problem. He told her the necessary preliminary steps to testing would take at least two months. We made an appointment with a sleep center in Alpharetta two weeks letter, and the preliminary steps were begun the following day.

From scheduling, check in, medical evaluation and consultation, everyone was great! They all were prompt, respectful, and super friendly. Thanks to Dr. Cobb, I am physically and mentally active in my 70s.

Never again
I hate leaving bad reviews… …truly, I do, and I am always one to give the biggest benefit of the doubt. I really wanted to believe I just caught this doctor on a bad day, as we all have those. However, after reading other reviews once I arrived home from my appointment, I felt very compelled to be honest. I left sobbing (actually, by the time I got to my car, bawling) and hopeless, with absolutely no confidence whatsoever that this doctor heard a word I said. Even if he did listen, I did not feel heard, believed, or understood in the slightest. Despite desperately and urgently needing relief and treatment, I actually decided I would rather wait and endure my physical symptoms to explore other options than feel as horrible as I did emotionally when I left (which of course only makes physical pain so much worse). I would travel any distance and go to great expense for alternatives before returning.

Pleased for many years
He has been my Dr. for many years and treats me for two disorders with very good results. There is free parking, nice waiting room, short wait times, and friendly staff.

Horrible staff
Let's hope that my wife doesn't have a brain issue that requires immediate attention because the staff at that practice with Dr. Cobb has not returned our calls for a visit referred by my doctor. The brain is not something to take lightly, evidently the people there could careless about a human being's health. We have since looked into another radiologist as we felt it was urgent.

I would not recommend Dr Cobb. He is difficult to talk to and dismissive of any questions. At one appointment he left the exam room to get some lab results and left me in the room. I had two more questions but he just ducked out and left. None of my conditions have improved.

This Dr. office' billing department is an absolute nightmare. Prepare to be robbed, lied to, or ignored. I visited this office in Dec 2020 with the primary goal of getting an updated prescription so that I could replace my existing, outdated CPAP machine. I was also told that I would have to come in for a follow-up appointment in a month so that my insurance company could verify that I was using the machine (that I was paying for out of pocket). Concerned, I asked what the charge would be was told "oh no, don't worry. There's no charge associated with that visit". 8 months later, and I'm getting collections calls for the over $70 they claim I owe for the follow-up, and they're just barely competent enough to pass the blame onto the insurance company for their screw-up. I hope the good doctors who work here can find a better office to work because their support staff is awful. I will never use this doctor's office again, and I hope everyone else takes their business elsewhere.

I've worked in healthcare for 25 years. My opinion is this doctor is arrogant. His abilities in his specialty don't support his attitude. His manner is unprofessional. He is unable to answer questions without being sarcastic or making a face or gesture indicating his time us bring wasted. Find someone else. I wouldn't trust my life to this person.

Terrible! Numerous mistakes on my records....never corrected. Terrible beside manner. Only interested in talking about himself. Will NOT listen to patient. He passes judgment before any testing is completed. Seems to only prescribe new medications regardless of patients symptoms. Gee, wonder what's going on there. I will never soil his office with my presence or checkbook again.

I waited MONTHS to get an appointment, and when I did, after the doctor ordered bloodwork, the staff would not help us with a mistake that was made in the procedure order he sent to the Lab. They took almost a week to call me back, and then, did not assist me in getting the bloodwork processed. They were so rude & unhelpful, that I would NEVER recommend anyone go to this doctor. The doctor was OK, but his staff blocked my ability to get answers on my condition for a diagnosis or treatment.

After suffering from headaches nearly daily for a couple of years I caved and scheduled an appt. with a specialist to be sure nothing severe was wrong. Dr. Cobb was the only one that had availability within a month. After a 45 minute wait, I spent roughly 5 minutes with Dr. Cobb who told me that headaches are caused by a wide variety of factors, and that I would need to "Google it".... no tests ran, no recommendations, but he was quick to call in an outrageously expensive pain med. $50 copay!!
