I rarely rip a Doctor's reputation; but this MUST be said. My wife has suffered with Crohn's Disease her entire adult life (age 27) for 35 long years. Latest flarup has causes her insurmountable pain. D'auria initially ordered a colonoscopy. I was with her in recovery. He came in and said "well at least we didn't find anything "terrible". No cancer, no masses; but you have your Crohn's acting up. She needs infusion. Now, Dr. says he's not convinced it's Crohn's. Then took 3 week vacation.

My wife has been in constant pain all summer long. This Dr. can't do ANYTHING right. Made her get a CT scan rather than simply ask for her records from the Dr. (who wishes she never left). Took him nearly 3 weeks to tell her the results of the CT. At that point all he needed to do was submit a letter with her records to medicaid. Records received but NOT the letter. Told her that the infusion for Crohns' was in "appeal" but she called medicaid & said they never received it (LIAR)
