Had shoulder surgery yesterday Dr Davis operated on my shoulder yesterday. As far as surgery goes, it was an excellent experience. He did a great job, the wound is clean, my pain is minimal (almost trivial). So far I hacve had a perfect outcome.

Always feel at ease.
This is my 4 the visit to Dr. Davis. I even went to his office that is farther away, just to be treated by him. He is so good at what he does. I never ask a question that is not cheerfully answered. I never am made to feel that I'm bothering him. He is careful and courteous.

Accessible and Responsive
Dr. Davis has been very helpful and thorough in the run-up to my shoulder surgery. Very helpful with pre-authorization needs, MRI, insurance, and providing specific details about my pending procedure. Dr. Davis also has an incredible staff - professional, courteous, and always on top of their game. I'm looking forward to the shoulder repair next month.

Tremendous experience. Thank you Dr. Davis!
My son broke his collar bone at a track meet. It was late on a Friday night, far from home. We brought him home, had to find an Orthopaedic Specialist to evaluate his condition and ultimately perform surgery. Monday morning at 8:00 AM we called Rothman, got an appointment with Dr. Davis that morning. Surgery was scheduled the next day at Abington. I can't thank Dr. Davis and everyone involved enough for the tremendous care they provided my son. A compound fracture requiring a plate and screws to stabilize the bone. It's 2 1/2 months later and he's healing nicely and cleared to resume normal activities.

Dr. Davis, Rothman Institute, Blue Bell
Dr. Davis and his staff are very efficient, well organized, and friendly. After looking at my ex-rays he explained what needed to be done if I wanted to do the things I always had done. He listened to and answered my questions and fears and put my mind at ease. I highly recommend him for orthopaedic surgery.

He doesn’t listen and makes mistakes
Dr. Davis made multiple mistakes, ignored my medical background information, and did nothing for me but line his pockets. First he scheduled me for a cortisone shot with the wrong doctor, so I had to wait longer for pain relief. When the cortisone shot wore off and my pain came searing back, I called to find out what to do next. The nurse spoke with Dr. Davis and told me he said to come in. I left work early and paid a $50 copay thinking I was going to find out the next steps of my treatment. He walked in the room and told me there’s no more he can do for me. He could have told me that over the phone. He also offered no further options until I asked if I needed a pain mgmt specialist. He suggested medical cannabis. I told him I already take medical cannabis and that it does nothing for my pain. He suggested a type of doctor I’ve never heard of and had an assistant tell me that someone would be calling me to schedule. Today I got that call - it was from a medical cannabis doctor.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Davis and his staff to anyone in need of any age. I'm 52 and this was my first injury requiring a procedure of any type. Dr Davis made me feel confident in both his ability and my chances for full recovery from the first meeting. I found him to be understanding, thoughtful and competent at every step of the process. His assistant is no less professional than he is. Wholeheartedly recommend.

I went to Dr. Davis for a 2nd opinion 9 mos after I fractured my right collarbone close to neck (uncommon location). My initial surgeon, put me in figure of 8 brace and took xrays over 3 visits. Each time he was pleased "it hasn't moved"; never recommended surgery; then released me with a positive prognosis. I went back a month or so later as chronic pain continued with certain movements...no results. Dr. Davis told me on 1st visit the fracture was comminuted; ordered CT scan which confirmed; he recommended surgery to reconstruct clavical. Initial doc never told me how serious the fracture is or that bone is in multiple pieces. Dr. Davis patiently explained the CT scan to me and the surgery. I finally understand why I'm still having pain 9 mos after my accident. I never feel rushed at my visits w/Dr. Davis and have not been in waiting room more than a few minutes for appts with him. His office staff is very friendly and helpful. So glad I saw Dr. Davis!
