He is honest, and attentive
He is very attentive. I have a recurring condition that puts me in the ER about every 6 months. The hospital where he works is hit or miss, actually the whole Christus health system is pretty terrible.He actually took the time to order tests and a proper scan, most providers at Christus Alice do not bother. I wish he could be my permanent doctor. I have still not recovered totally, but I felt very safe under his care.

He is very rude and disrespectful he doesn't listen to what you have to say and heaven forbids if you go in with the same issues and get him again his rudeness just gets worse i have gone in with constant pain and he told me all i was looking for was pain medicine he needs to be fired

Works for Providence Hospital Emergency Room. The Hospital that is suppose to be Humancare and compassionate (Health) with their patients. He was VERY rude asking me exactly why I brought my 89 year old Mom in with Stomach pain which has been and ongoing problem. He said you know that will not be fixed overnight. He never can back into the room in the ER after being so rude.

Unfortunately I had to take a trip to our local Emergency Room on July 23rd. 2016 and as it turms out, i happened to be at Providence Hospital here in Waco, Texas. Fortunately, I ended up with Dr. Daniel Elwell, D.O. being the one who treated me. Not only did I feel like Dr. Elwell was a very attentive physician, I felt that he genuinely cared and was concerned about my wellbeing. He took the time to answer ALL my questions and made sure that I understood the situation to the fullest.
