Dr. Freedman is an absolute gift as a Neurologist. Our son was lucky enough to be seen as an emergency patient through the ER (after a seizure) by Dr. Freedman. He was calm, personable, and very intuitive. His rapport with our son (coupled with his extensive understanding of Neurology) was what lead to our son's diagnosis -- ultimately saving our son's life. This is not an exaggeration in the slightest. Due to his amazing bedside manner, and his ability to really listen -- he reviewed, and re-reviewed tests that were otherwise deemed normal. He found the slightest abnormality on the EEG, and ordered additional testing that confirmed a brain AVM -that eventually was successfully removed surgically. This process was made incredibly seamless due to Dr. Freedman's personality and his need to insure we were not only educated on what was happening, but also supported. We are thankful every day for that 'chance' meeting in the ER, and the two year timeframe he was under his care.

We cannot express just how much we appreciate and respect Dr. Daniel Freedman. He has followed our daughter’s care for several years. He is very down to earth, and our daughter has always looked forward to her Neurology appointments. She has a great connection with Dr. Freedman and they have shared many laughs during her appointments. Dr. Freedman is very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate, patient, and truly has a wonderful bedside manner - qualities of a great physician! He is always very thorough and listens intently to all of our questions and concerns. We have always left our appointments with a clear understanding of what took place during the visit. We highly recommend Dr. Freedman! To say that he will be missed at NCH is an understatement! Thank you for your excellent care! We wish you the very best as you begin your next chapter!
