Dr. Daniel Frohwein, MD

Dr. Frohwein is one of the best doctors I’ve ever encountered. He’s professional, personable, and respectful. I greatly appreciate his honesty and authenticity. When he told me that he doubted there was a procedure that would truly help the condition I was dealing with, my husband and I were overwhelmed! I would have gone along with anything he would have advised…and, clearly, making money was not his priority. Dr. Frohwein recommended physical therapy, a Dexascan to determine my level of osteoporosis, and wrote me a script for an effective anti-inflammatory. He made a huge, positive contribution to my physical and mental health, and I am forever grateful.

I was in for an epidural and the procedure went smooth and painless. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Dr. Frohwine explained the procedure fully. And I would recommend him to family and friends.

That it was a waste of time

The office atmosphere is very pleasant; the staff really takes good care of each patient who comes in the office.

I guess he likes who he likes, and makes sure he clearly demonstrates those he doesn’t like. From the time I attended my initial consult, he kept me waiting while he chatted with his staff, appeared to be uninterested, asked “what he can help me with” when I had been in the office 2x. He focused on the fact that I didn’t have PT previously and insisted I start PT before even providing a plan for me. I have had back pain for 5y and completed several other therapies. The 2nd (and last visit) wasn’t any different. He was rude, presumed I wanted surgery instead of inventive solutions. He is closed minded, bedside manner sucks! I explained that PT was a work in process with little improvements. I was deflated about daily pain. He said I wouldn’t find anyone to touch me with surgery and I need to get “over it because something else will happen later in life, just deal with the pain”. He said Ortho gives pills, PT and shots. His nurse was just as rude and short. I will seek another provider.

Dr Frohwein, took the time to listen and was not dismissive. He addressed the problem and came up with alternatives, and recommendations so I am not in constant pain.

Dr. Frohwein was able to offer a treatment plan that helped me achieve the pain relief I needed so desperately. Staff was very professional and knowledgeable.

Dr. Frohwein is a great doctor. He’s a good listener which is rare. He seems to genuinely want to help solve my pain problem and is working with me to achieve this goal. He understands how insurance works too. These skills and his great personality make him a great doctor.

Minimal wait and felt like I got first class care and service

I have been a patient of Dr. Frohwein’s on several occasions through the years, when other modalities have failed. He is an excellent doctor, and has helped me in the past. Dr. Frohwein is a rare find, in that he really takes the time to listen to you, understand the problem, and present an honest evaluation, with options you have to choose from. It is evident that he genuinely cares about his patients and although I am there to see him for pain, I always truly enjoy talking with him. I’m sure I’ll be back at some point, as this body is still aging, and I “played” too hard when I was young!

Groin pain

I went to see Dr. Frohwein because of severe pain in my upper right back. After he did a trigger point injection, I am feeling much better! He’s the best.

Dr. Frohwein cares deeply about his patients and is really invested in their recovery back to a life without pain. He is smart, knowledgeable, honest, attentive, has a wonderful bedside manner, and always puts your health first. I feel blessed to have him as my doctor.
