Dr. Daniel Hoffman, MD

I began seeing Dr. Hoffman over 4 years ago while having major issues with a lazy bladder, UTI's, enlarged prostate and blocked urethra. Beyond his surgical skills in clearing up the restrictions in the urethra, his commitment to finding a quality of life that was acceptable to me was paramount in his thoughts. Lazy bladders are not repairable, which means UTI's can become a part of life. Dr. Hoffman prescribed a simple medication process, along with catherization, that has provided me with a normal life. UTI's are minimal now, and when they occur he established an immediate treatment plan that I can implement that knocks the UTI down immediately. Although my results may be different than others, the important thing is that Dr. Hoffman is a caring professional, who wants the best for his patients. I now travel 2 1/2 hours for an office visit. That is how much I trust him.

Diagnosed with MS(Multiple Sclerosis) in 2002. Visited several urologists over the years. No one! I mean no one, took the time to review my condition and offer help like Dr. Hoffman. He confidently explained my options, cured my need for depends and incontinence when my hope was lost. Safe to say he saved and changed my life. Forever in debt for restoring my freedom. Thank you Sir!

I had had three previous surgeries for incontinence in Clearwater, both were not done right. Had a third in Boston and was referred to Dr. Hoffman for follow-up by the Urologist there. I was still having some leakage problems and Dr Hoffman discussed the choices with me, we agreed on what needed to be done for me to be happy with the results. Had my last reconstruction in March and I can't say enough good things about Dr Hoffman, he is everything you want in a Doctor when there is a problem. His staff is so attentive and kind. Don't look any further I highly recommend Dr Hoffman.

Another urologist made some mistakes on me. Dr. Hoffman has fixed them. He was extremely helpful explaining what to expect from surgery. Nice bedside manner. Gave me confidence it would be ok. I really like him.

Dr Hoffman saw me through my first and hopefully last kidney stone. He was very knowledgeable and extremely compassionate. He took time to carefully explain what was happening and what my options were. The whole USF Urology team was top notch!

My wife (Mrs. De Jesus) have permanently damaged for life after surgery under Dr. Hossman, be aware because he uses the USF to get legal cover.

He saved my life, so naturally I have a high opinion of him. I am impressed by his tendency on one hand to be very direct and straightforward in his explanations, but on the other hand his level of compassion and care is also admirably high. I was despondent after hearing a recent cancer diagnosis, but after one conversation with him I regained my confidence that I will end up being fine. He effectively managed both my physical and my emotional needs. I am as grateful as I can possibly be.

Was hoping to find a good dr to help me with my issues, instead found a dr that is only used to treating the normal pt. I’m a difficult pt and he wasn’t willing to even try to help me. Didn’t listen well and I basically waited 2 and a half hours for nothing. Not compassionate or caring. I would not recommend him to anyone!
