Dr. Daniel Hutton, DO

Dr. Hutton explained my back problem in detail and what he needed to do in surgery to correct the problem. He said the procedures were 83% effective to relieve pain and numbness.

Dr. Hutton was patient, kind, understanding, thoughtful, and reflective in reviewing imaging and assisting in formulating a surgical plan. He listens and is thorough in evaluation and communication in helping you understand the issues. He did a lumbar procedure which he did over two days in 2022 and a thoracic surgical procedure in 2023. His bedside manner in the hospital setting and follow-up care was good. His assistant Alan Garcin provided medical support and follow-up care. I highly recommend Dr. Hutton as a neurosurgeon. Office staff, Kelly Mallory is also polite and helpful with answering questions through email.

He is the best. Patient oriented. Talks with you not to you. Great surgeon, great bedside manner.

I have been in terrible pain for several years and my spine was SO bad that I was almost afraid to have surgery. When it got so bad that I was leaning way to the right and could barely walk let alone do the daily things we all need to do to live. I DID NOT WANT TO END UP IN A WHEEL CHAIR. I went to see him for help and he encouraged me by saying that he does a surgery like what I need almost weekly and has had good luck with them. It took me a week to realize it that the pain was not there. Thank you so much Dr. Hutton!

I am in considerable pain and experience numbness in my hands and legs, fever and loss of balance, several years after my neck fusion. My insurance doesn't require a referral but the office didn't even want to talk to me about an appointment unless I have a referral and an MRI. Since my PCP doctor's office is understaffed and my doctor is on vacation, I am unable to get the referrals from them; I checked urgent care and other places - still, nobody was able to refer me. The office schedulers were very rude and unwilling to listen. It's not Dr. Hutton's issue but if you want a compassionate care, avoid this office.

Very nice, and straight to the point, Doctor. He listens well. Explains things well. I was well taken care of in the hospital.

Dr Hutton did my neck surgery in 2011. He was kind, straight up on how long the fix would break down. We went over all the positives and negatives. The surgery changed my life. I took pain killers for two days after surgery and didn’t need anymore after that. Did my prescribed PT. I had a new lease on life. I have gone almost two of what was predicted. No complaints here. The staff was great.

Dr Hutton is amazing! He has performed 2 spinal fusions (neck 2016 & lumbar 2017) and a microdiscectomy 2018! Fantastic doctor (along with his right hand man, Alan Garcin)! Kind, happy and excellent care. Explains each situation very well and they both care a great deal for their patients. Spends time to answer your questions. (Now, only if my back was so nice to me! Haha) Awaiting another neck and lumbar fusion....but grateful to know I have someone that I trust whole heartedly and who I feel is the BEST in the area.

I was so very pleased with my experience with Dr. Hutton. and his front office staff. I was treated so very well. His demeanor was very kind and attentive. Dr. Hutton gave me insight to the neck/back difficulties that have become a concern. He answered my questions and offered helpful solutions. It was nice that he commended my efforts to self-care and utilizing acupuncture treatment(which is helpful). His professional expertise and reassurance brought me a great deal of relief. Thanx ??

Dr. Hutton was kind, respectful, friendly and professional. I chose to see him after getting surgery from another doctor (who did the surgery but didn't fix the problem). The difference in his treatment approach and aftercare was significant compared to Dr. Gallo. Dr. Hutton was by far the superior provider. I would highly recommend him.

The kindest and most personable Physician I have ever had surgery from. He explained everything in detail about my upcoming surgery. Utilizied my MRI, CAT scan and x-rays to help describe my upcoming surgery. He was very easy to talk to and ask questions. I never felt embarrassed or degraded about the questions I asked. After the surgery, he was still as easy to talk with and very helpful with letting me know what to expect with the healing process.
