Compassionate and professional care
I have been a patient of Dr. Katz for several years and I am Beyond grateful for his compassionate professional care . Dr. Katz listened to my symptoms of a very painful bladder and instead of dismissing my complaints he followed through with medical tests that confirmed I had bladder cancer. So many women are not taken seriously when they have recurrent UTI symptoms and I consider myself fortunate to have a doctor who has provided timely treatments that have kept my bladder cancer from advancing to a life threatening level.Dr. Katz’s staff at Premier Urology set up all the treatments that he orders and I am never left without follow up care. I highly recommend Premier Urology and Dr. Daniel Katz for the best of care for women

He is knowledgeable, but that is all...
While I found Dr. Katz to be knowledgeable, which I would expect, he did not find my case to be severe or serious enough to warrant immediate intervention. The purposed treatment would have left me the condition I was in, which was not only physically uncomfortable, needlessly, but horribly embarrassed and my self esteem completely destroyed. His only answer to my concerns when I made him aware of them was that I should just learn to live with it, for the time being, and my partner would too. It was as if he did not think my situation was serious enough for a more invasive treatment. I am so thankful, that despite having incurred hundreds of dollars worth of expensive tests by Dr. Katz's office, I had the sense to seek a second opinion. I was immediately seen by a Urogynecologist and she took care of the problem that week. Something that Dr. Katz strung me along for a year, with painful examinations/tests/and mental worries was fixed in one operation. I am post op 3 months.

Dr Katz is calm and patient. He spends time explaining procedures and options. He is confident in his knowledge of his field and inspires trust that he will do what is right for his patient. I never had to wait for an appointment. His office staff were wonderful and the running of the office was very efficient. They all gave the best patient centered care. I am a nurse and know the effort it takes to provide good care. I was very impressed by my experience with Dr Katz and his staff.
