Dismissive
I have bad lower back pain, stenosis and unexplained weakness in my legs and knees and trouble walking for a couple of years. Most of this is damage due to Tourette’s syndrome. I was hoping to work with someone to find an approach to mitigate the pain of this, as no one seems to have any time or ideas for it. I had an mri and he said everything looks normal for my age. So that’s it? I’m 56. I felt like I had to push for a next step. He was so disappointingly dismissive.

Horrible Experience
I went to Dr. Kline for a spinal tap and it was the worst experience of my life. Right after the spinal tap he had me up and walking. I know you need to lie flay for at least an hour to prevent headaches. After the procedure I was out the door within 10 minutes. I felt extremely rushed with such a delicate procedure. The next day I got severe headaches and extreme nausea for over a week. After the second week I went back to Dr. Kline and explained my issues and he recommended a blood patch, which I didn't have confidence in him to perform. I did schedule an appointment with him that week because of how sick I was, however, I eventually went to the the ER to have it done. When I called his office to cancel the blood patch procedure, they said I wasn't even on the schedule! When I received the results of the spinal tap, only half of them came back because not enough fluid was taken, so I went through all of that for nothing. All in all, horrible experience!

Helped me and husband
My husband and I aren’t “doctor people”. But we both had varying debilitating painful spinal issues that couldn’t be ignored. Kline knows his stuff. And since we had to face the music, we are so glad we put our fate in his hands. He IS extremely busy and no-nonsense, so be on time.

My family felt extremely confident choosing Dr Daniel Kline as a new pain management doctor. He in took our (relatively complex) case quickly and we mistook that for confidence in his abilities. After consultation he suggested a return to a previously tried therapy. This unfortunately did nothing to alleviate any symptoms. Afterwards he said he no longer felt comfortable with the medical history of the patient. He only had one idea and then discontinued service! I fear the doctor views all problems as a nail.

I am so grateful for Dr Kline! He has been with me by my side trying hard to help with chronic back pain that started young. All doctors dismissed me, may literally saying it was "in my head". He saw me as a human being suffering and was compassionate, caring, professional and always detailed and explained everything clearly. I felt almost crying when he said I beehive you're in pain and I want to help. So many callous doctors refused to help and made me feel hopeless/helpless, making me crushed that I may live a life of pain forever. But through some non-invasive procedures to avoid back surgery at a young age, I think I found what pain-free feels like! Dr Kline is an angel masquerading as a doctor. I am blessed he is only medical team and has my interests on mind first and foremost!

Disappointing. I went to him complaining of back and foot pain (sciatica like symptoms ) . He dismissed my pain saying it was normal for my age (I am in my 30s) and when my MRI was declined by the insurance , he didn’t even bother getting back to me with alternatives, despite calling his office several times . I expected better patient care .

I have spinal pain and my MRI showed a slight disc.My spine surgeon recommended gettin injection. when I went to Dr kline, He suggested that He should do two injections into my back to relieve the pain. unfortunately after the first injection my back pain got increased !!! I couldn't longer walk very well Since he did this injection to my back, my pain has multiplied and I was almost disabled and I couldn't walk easily. while before this injection I only had occasional pain, most likely this doctor did the injection incorrectly. I got another MRI and My spine surgeon recommended the other doctor, He did injection and 30 min after the New Doctor injection all of my Back pain got to disappear. I found out only One injection is necessary for back and Dr. Kline told me Two injections required to charge my insurance multiple time. I will definitely file a lawsuit against him about his lack of knowledge about pain and improper diagnosis and treatment.

Dr.Kline was very disappointed when my first few treatments did not relieve my pain. He persisted and, on the final procedure, he succeeded in helping relieve the worst of my pain. Clearly, he was very happy for me. He listens carefully and his patients and answers all questions. Too bad he is leaving Winchester.
