Not Recomended
Had me wait 2 months for surgery for prostate cancer then cancelled a week before. Reason given A1C 8.1 not below 8- I can accept that except after cancellation I took Aleve(OTC) for relief that worked and blood sugar dropped to an average of141-well below the 8. Did Dr Lange recommend that- NO HE DID NOT. So still have cancer after waiting 2 months, not to mention all the time taken leading up deciding surgery was necessary. Will be seeing a different provider. Staying away from Springfield Clinc now and in the future.

His God Complex is Terrible
Dr. Lange ordered surgery but no one on his staff properly communicate what was going to happen. They also took a week to order pain medication. When I tried to get clarity and transparency, the staff failed to adequately reply. I filed a complaint with SC and have been retaliated against. When I tried to talk with Dr. Lange to understand what was going to happen to me He blew up with a God Complex and yelled at me good luck finding another urologist. Worst interaction with a Dr. ever. If you want to advocate for your health, this is not the Dr. for you.

I have seen Dr. Daniel Lange for years. I have chronic UTIs and chronic production of kidney stones. He has been very proactive in managing the infections and helping me rid the stones before they cause me problems. My husband had a bad experience at another facility and I got his care moved to Dr. Lange. I have always been satisfied with his care.

I have never had a worse Doctor in all of my life. Completely avoid doing anything helpful at all. Every request I make to his office is avoided and ignored until I go away or they can scheme to keep me from getting the help I request.

Maybe he’s good at procedures, but outside of that, awful. Unhelpful and indifferent. He did not seem interested in helping me and, frankly, searching on google was more helpful than he was. Would never go to him again.

Dr. Lange performed surgery on my mom, and unfortunately we ended up with unexpected cancer news. After surgery, he met with my dad and I to explain the surgery, what he found, possible complications, and ultimately the outcome we could expect. He spent the time with us we needed, and delivered the news in a professional, yet caring manner. Once my mom was alert enough, he met with all of us again to explain everything to her. Was very impressed with Dr Lange and all of the nurses here.
