He is amazing but unless he unloads the halfwit who handles phones and questions- he will lose patients - I had to cancel because I woke with a stomach virus- the idiot said I should have cancelled yesterday - I wasn’t sick yesterday . She was almost hysterical- He must get patient staff who won’t chase patients who needed him so much. She must be replaced but as she will be the reader , he will never read this .

Dr. Murphy replaced my hip on Election Day, November 8th, 2022. I am 88 years old, and am now walking, sleeping on my side and exercising. My seam has almost disappeared. I couldn't ask for a more competent or kinder surgeon than Dr. Murphy!

Dr Murphy is all the usual reviews . Caring doctor, great diagnostician , Explains condition well. Listens to patient . But the best part is he is a good person. Dr . Cynthia Harper

Always respectful and attentive of my needs

Dr Murphy has successfully treated me for joint issues in my knees and “trigger finger “ . He always listens carefully and analyzes the issue; then he explains the options for treatment. He successfully operated on my trigger finger and explained “PT” to avoid the problem with my other fingers. He was recommended to me several years ago by Phil Smith, my Physical Therapist. I highly recommend Dr Murphy.

Dr. Murphy recently repaired a torn meniscus in my knee. I was terrified at the thought of the surgery, but he and his nurse, Tracey, could not have been kinder and more understanding of my fear. They thoroughly explained the procedure and once they handed me over to Martine, the scheduling manager, I can honestly say I had no doubts or fear about the surgery. The Surgery Center used by Dr. Murphy is nothing short of fabulous. My recovery was exactly as he predicted and I had my last visit with him this week. My knee feels better than it has in years. The whole experience was great....and I never thought I would use that word when describing a surgical procedure.

Dr. Murphy and P.A. Tracey Nimeth are both excellent medical providers. My April hip replacement surgery went well and I was walking 2 miles per day in 7 weeks with no pain. P.T. is crucial to hip replacement success and I will continue the exercises into the future. I highly recommend Dr.Murphy and give him Five Stars!

In January 2022 Dr. Murphy did a total hip replacement on my left side. After 4 months post operation of physical therapy to strengthen the hip I’m able to walk distances with ease. I haven’t had the ability to do that for at least 5 years even though I received various treatments from many other providers during that time for pain management including acupuncture, chiropractic and numerous cortisone shots. Thank you! Thank you for a remarkable result. You and your staff are terrific. You always answered all our questions and gave us a clear understanding of what the surgery entailed.

I have been going to Dr. Murphy for a couple of years now and he is the most patient, generous person/Doctor I have EVER known. He truly wants to help people feel better and he doesn't think beyond that when you are with him at your appointment. He has a compassion for helping people beyond anything I have ever witnessed not to mention how brilliant of a Dr. he is. I live in Nashville now but I fly back to Tampa just to see him. Thank You Dr Murphy your the best!!!!!

Bedside manner is amazing. A wonderful doctor with great experience.

I saw Dr Murphy today for a knee issue. An examination was done and it was mutually decided to do a cortisone injection. Dr Murphy found the right spot and it was done in a very short time. I’ve seen Dr Murphy a few times and will continue going as needed.

Dr. Murphy and Tracy Nimeh, PA-C have been awesome. They are Knowledgeable, sensitive, and informative… I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident in my receiving expert medical care. Staff was great, too. Walked away, extremely impressed w. the overall experience. I was especially blown away when Dr. Murphy took the time to call me the evening after my surgery. That is unheard of today. HIGHLY recommend!!!

I highly recommend Dr Murphy and his very able PA Tracey. I had a total hip replacement on Dec 8 and at this point I have made a full recovery. Dr. Murphy has given me back my mobility. I am back to walking miles again. All through my recovery I was supported by Dr. Murphy, Tracey and his highly professional staff. The best part of my recovery was there were no surprises. Each step occurred as predicted and when predicted. He is a highly talented and caring physician.

He spoke of how easy it was to drive during quarantine because there was no traffic!! 4 people in room and no questions answered still about hip replacement surgery that had been cancelled twice due to Covid 19. He jerked my knee as if to see if I was in pain in a way that I felt he did it intentionally.. All office staff "Nice' but incompetent. Too many mistakes in office and no understanding of why I trust issues..Do not care at this point how great a surgeon he is...In pain but will wait again for someone that takes time..not 5 minutes in 2 appointments.. Many good surgeons all over this country, Florida is a nightmare..That's why Covid numbers souring because bars opening more important than patients SUFFERING in pain needing ,what someone named "elective surgery" !! And risk of dying from avasgulor necrosis!!

After suffering a fall and breaking patella. Surgery was very successful no pain after a couple of days all physical therapy was not as difficult as what you hear and read. I’m amazed and thankful for a good quality physician.

Dr. Murphy is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He operated on my torn meniscus and after some physical therapy, I was able to resume triathlon training! I was successful last April in the St. Anthony's Sprint Triathlon and I plan to participate in more events. I am a 61 year old grandmother of 3, and Dr.Murphy changed my life. I can challenge myself and set an example of strength and courage for my grandkids. I will press on, knowing Dr.Murphy and P.A.Tracy are both there to support me in being an active senior, dreaming new and sometimes crazy dreams.

I have been seeing Dr Murphy for years now and he and his staff have been able to help me through each of my issues. The pain I have been experiencing recently in both hips is now gone.

He's an excellent doctor he did surgery on my daughter and i in 2002 and thanks to him my daughter and i are super I recommend him to the world. Thanks dr.murphy God bless you and your family always

I have seen Dr.Murphy quite a few times over the last 3 years.....he performed surgery on me twice, and was always available for appointments or phone calls. Actually called the office to check on me when I had an appt with his PA...and he had a day off!! His office staff is amazing, did more to help me with work papers than any other Dr's office ever has. He is personable, caring...and knows what he is doing. This is the only Orthopedic Surgeon I will ever let work on my bones! He is the best!!
