Seems angry???
I saw Dr. Okamoto twice. The first time, I walked into his office hoping for help, or at the very least, kindness. Instead, I was met with a cold, irritated stare. As I described my symptoms, he sat in silence and seemed mad. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he had a bad day. But the second appt was worse. Once again, his demeanor was detached, even hostile. There was no warmth, no concern-just that same vacant look, as though my suffering was an inconvenience. He honestly seems miserable and I don't know how such a hateful person could move a patient towards healing. Sorry to say that but I wish I would have been warned about how cold he is, I would have requested a different provider. When I am treated unkindly by a Dr, it makes it really hard for me to want to go back. My conditions have worsened because I have been so hesitant to go back or ask for a different provider. I won't be seeing Dr Okamoto again. .

Not helpful
Does not seem to care about patients at all. Does not answer questions or listen to patients concerns in a meaningful way. Not good at thinking outside of the box for chronic conditions. Bad experience.

Multiple chronic conditions, find another doctor.
This doctor is unable to treat patients with multiple chronic conditions. Plus, he is not interested/neglectful in senior medical care. If you have complex conditions, I recommend finding finding a seasoned doctor. My experience was not satisfactory.

My daughter was seen for him for an initial visit. Dr. Okamoto took a long time...an hour...too chat with her and get all background information. I, as a mother, was very impressed.
