I had 4 procedures on my hands and arms--all of which had excellent results. He is a meticulous surgeon and extremely compassionate. He spends as much time with you as you need--something rare these days. His entire staff is first rate. Maeve, his assistant, is also great.

Fantastic Hand Specialist
I cannot say enough about Dr. Osei and his incredible staff. Dr. Osei took the time to explain my condition (trigger finger) and treatment options and patiently answer all my questions over the course of several visits. His breadth of knowledge and compassion was mind-blowing; he genuinely cares about his patients. We took a few years trying less invasive options before concluding that surgery was the best solution. Dr. Osei's sensitive surgical precision and post-op guidance had a perfect outcome - I'm so thankful to him. His surgical scheduler Tracy was also a miracle worker - although my surgery was set for January 2024, Tracy was able to fit me in at the last minute before the Christmas holiday when I learned my 2023 insurance deductible was met - saving me 1000s of dollars. The entire office goes the extra mile. Grateful.

Doesn't get any better!
Met Dr. prior to and after my son's surgery. Dr. Osei is the kindest, compassionate, most professional, knowledgable and reassuring surgeon that you will ever have the pleasure of choosing for your care. I am extremely confident that we made the correct choice and have no reservation recommending Dr. Osei to be part of your care.

Highly recommend
Dr. Osei was recommended to my son (27 yrs old) for an ulnar nerve injury. His approach was conservative but ultimately my son had surgery (10 days ago). First let me start by saying that Dr. Osei was patient, took as much time as was needed for each appointment (there have been three, two in person and one virtual visit). He never made us feel like we were being rushed or that any of our questions were not worthy of taking time to explain. I felt very comfortable with his opinion and suggestions. As i stated above my son had an ultra nerve transposition. The surgery went well and he is doing well so far. Dr. Osei explained that the recovery is a long process but we are very hopeful that he will recover from this injury and be able to participate in the activities that he loves and be symptom free. I cannot say enough about how highly I think of Dr. Osei and recommend his services 1,000 percent.

A thankful patient
I saw Dr. Osei for a torn bicep tendon a couple of years ago. He squeezed me in for a “hurry up” surgery even though it meant him working on his day off late into the evening after his office hours. From day one through my 15th or so follow up visit he was dynamite and would answer EVERY single question in great detail, often taking 20-30 minutes per visit despite having maybe 5-10 minutes allotted for our visit. One time he came in and asked how I was doing and I set in about my arm etc, he stopped me and said No no- how are YOU doing, we will talk about your arm in a minute. One of my favorite parts was, he let me (with his guidance and direction) take out my own stitches lol, I was in so much pain after I surgery and having my arm immobilized that I didn’t want anyone touching me. All around great guy, professional, expert, and wouldn’t hesitate to see him again should the need arise….

Dr. Osei repaired a median nerve injury for my left hand on 2/25/14. The procedure included replacing the tendon and nerves that moved my thumb and index finger. The prognosis for recovery was not good and I was only expected to regain 5% - 25% use of my left hand. Believe it or not; in my opinion judging by what I can do with a volleyball I have gained 100% use of it back.

My autistic daughter broke her wrist while playing soccer. She was the Goalie. She was 13. Dr. Osei was the epitome of grace and gentleness, understanding and compassion. Though my daughter has high functioning autism, he was careful to explain things and alerted Pre-op as to her autism. With humor and gentleness, he fixed her arm (rt, complicated double break), and he turned what could have been an absolute nightmare, into a good memory.

Dr. Osei has a beautiful, clean, well-equiped office in Chesterfield, Missouri. Both he and his assistant always spend all the time necessary to listen and answer questions, describe procedures, and explain any treatments. Dr. Osei has a gentle disposition and is very well spoken without being condescending. I trust his judgement fully and have enjoyed flawless recovery and final results after the procedure he performed on me. Dr. Osei does excellent work.

He explained everything on my X-rays. Talked about the treatment options. Spent sufficient amount of time during the diagnosis and asked/listened the details about my complaint. You feel like you are in good hands. By the way staff and nurses very very helpful and kind. It was one of my best Dr's office visits.
