Dr. Petro and his oncology nurse Stephanie have always shown so much care and concern for me. He always takes time to explain things to me and answer all my questions. I had a different oncologist in Beaver County and that was a horrible experience. Not the case with Dr. Petro

Dr Petro has been my doctor since my stage 3 cancer diagnosis three and a half years ago. I’ve seen him twice a month (partly for active treatment and partly for maintenance) and can’t say enough good things about him. First of all, I’m still here!! And I generally feel healthy and strong. He has always spent as much time as needed to explain things, answer my questions, discuss my options, etc. I have always felt like he cared about me personally. I highly recommend him.

Unfortunately, Dr. Petro is an arrogant doctor. We found it disappointing to learn that one must 'throw a fit' in order to get him to answer questions directly. He will not be honest because he wants you to get chemo so he can make money.GET A SECOND OPINION.Also, take others with you to appointments to be a witness to his statements because he will retract or say that it is proven that when you are under stress (getting the news of cancer) you don't comprehend correctly' when called out on lies.
