Dr. Was very nice and apologetic about the wait time...

Dr Sellman was very helpful in explaining the issues I was having with my hands. I now know about the treatment plan. He is also very personable and interested at making sure you understand what he will do to treat the problem.

Dr. Sellman is wonderful, caring, skilled, knowledgeable and definitely has MY best interest at heart. He honestly tells me his opinion and includes me in our plan of care. He not only listens to me but he hears what I have to say. I will continue to come to BHS as long as Dr. Sellman is there too.

I have nothing to say but wonderful things about Dr. Sellman. He did a major surgery on my arm. I found him to be very caring and compassionate. He listened to all my concerns and he is one of the best surgeons I’ve had. I would highly recommend him! Rock on Dr. S.

Shoulder replacement
Had a total reverse shoulder replacement Oct 23, 2020. Dr Sellmen reviewed the entire procedure and took all the needed time for me to ask questions. Two years later I am pain free and able to play golf and do other activities pain free. Great Surgeon.

Dan Sellman did a Total Hip Replacement 14 years ago when he was with the Janesville Mercy Hosp. He measured and installed the appliance very poorly, I have 3/4inch difference between legs -original joint to metal joint, and just simple walking is sometimes difficult. I have to wear a platform shoe now, one side only.

Dr. Sellman replaced my knee 13 years ago. He put the new knee in crooked and then blamed me when I couldn't bend my leg to 90 degrees. He then pushed me through physical therapy and dismissed me. After a year of intense pain of walking after his surgery, I finally saw a specialist in Madison. The new doctor took x-rays and saw clearly that Dr. Sellman put my knee in crooked. I had to have another knee replacement, but by then the damage was done. Thanks to Dr. Sellman I will have to walk with a cane for the rest of my life and I am currently only 55. Please do not let this man operate on you. He is arrogant and incompetent. He ruined my life!

Worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. Spends maybe 5 minutes with you and doesn't actually do anything. He wastes your time and just tries to get you back for more visits for more money. Don't do it. There are way better doctors in the area that are actually good at their job.

Dr Sellman took care of my carpal tunnel surgery 2001 and now did my cubital tunnel surgery in 2016. Results have been fabulous! He has always taken the time to explain the issues and explained pros and cons of each type of possible solutions to my conditions.

Very disappointed in the attention to detail this doctor gives. I regret continuing my care through this doctor; as I know I could of receive better attention and advice elsewhere.

Dr. Sellman was very unprofessional on how he carries himself in this profession. He treats his patients like numbers, rather than giving the personal attention required by a doctor. If you want someone that will take the time of day, and look for your best interest; go elsewhere.
