Highly recommend.
For several years I am a patient of Dr. Smiley. He is the best doctor I was lucky to meet. Highly professional and knowledgeable. But the most important thing is a kind-hearted person. Listens to the patient, explains, spends enough time. Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer doctors of this level nowadays. He is the last of the Mohicans. He is for the patients. I highly recommend him as a excellent specialist.

Dr. Smiley is the best doctor I've ever seen in my entire life. I was so sick for so many years & he was the one who actually spent the time to find out what was wrong with me & how to treat it. He is kind, he listens & doesn't rush you. I went through hell for 6 years before I was referred to him. He did tests that no other Drs bothered to do & finally figured out what my mystery illness was & he did it really expediently. He is seriously the best Dr I've ever had.

It would be nice if they would actually keep appointments and do important procedures. Way to push elderly people to the side and not give them proper care.

Dr Smiley is an excellent doctor. He communicates well, listens to the reason why I am in his office, and will do testing if necessary. He doesn't rush me out the door like some doctors do, and to me that is very important. He has extensive experience in his field. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs a gastroentrologist.
