Doctor Daniel Storch, MD
My wife is an Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Registered Nurse. I had some heart issues and did not have a cardiologist doctor. She recommended (demanded) I make an appointment with Doctor Daniel Storch, MD. It was truly the right decision! What an outstanding cardiologist! Highly capable, very knowledgeable, explained things in detail, his expertise was impressive. Unlike a lot of physicians today, he didn’t ask an initial question and then bury his head in his laptop. He made eye contact, was sincerely interested in my cardiac problem, discussed it, came to a specific medical game plan based upon his diagnosis, and then entered the facts into his laptop. He also initiated a series of coronary medical evaluations for me, recommended home monitoring scenarios, and offered some life-type changes that would be a benefit for me. He made me totally comfortable that I was in good hands. Finally, his office staff is clearly committed to excellence. You see it in everything they do!

After having 3 cryptogenic strokes, Dr. Storch convinced me to get an implanted heart monitor. After 120 days with no events recorded, I received notification from the monitoring company that I had a recorded event. I Contacted Dr. Storch’s office on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday following being notified. I left a message on Dr Storch’s triage department and my call was not returned. I spoke to his office staff and the assistant I spoke to was completely unaware of the notification from the monitoring company. I left a detailed message about my COMPLETE BLOCK OF HEART result from the monitoring company. This message was also never returned. On Wednesday the office staff simply hung up on me when I asked when I could expect a call regarding my results. I am currently searching for a new cardiologist that will be more patient dedicated and caring

Arrogant, didactic M.D. Theoretically might know a lot. But bedside manner stinks & he totally abandoned(for ~10 days) in an emergency after I collapsed (went to 2 ERs) - no one could find him(even his own team) UNACCEPTABLE IMO he conned me into getting a pacemaker w/o real need. No info given prior to implantation. After worse as what he tells me abt it differs every visit. Have grad. training in Pharmacology& Dr. Storch is begging to get sued for his ignorance of drugs. Stubborn, rude

I have received excellent care from Dr Stortch as a hospital inpatient and office patient. He is a kind, caring and highly skilled cardiologist. He takes time to listen and explain. He also has a good sense of humor.

Arizona Cardiology Group failed to refill my prescription and Dr. Daniel Storch was rude to me for calling at 9pm. My doctor retired and I was switched to a new doctor. The pharmacy told me that my refill would be ready, and when I got off work at 9pm to pick it up, I was told that Arizona Cardiology Group failed to refill the prescription. The group told my pharmacy that I was not a patient!!! I'm just glad this was not a life threatening situation. After 15 years here, I'm not sure anymore.

Dr Storch has been my cardiologist since 1990 and has always provided me with excellent care. I am a type 2 diabetic whose heart and kidneys have both been ravaged by the disease. Dr. Storch works extremely well with my other medical providers, e.g. my nephrologist to ensure that I receive the best health care possible. His calm manner, his willingness to spend whatever time is necessary to answer my questions, his overall genuine concern for my well being speaks volumes to me. He is GREAT!!

I had my yearly physical in August. My PCP found my EKG to be different than the year before so he recommended that I see a cardiologist. They did a battery of tests and it was decided to have a Cardiac catheterization done. When the hospital called to verify some information I was informed that it would be Dr Storch.I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM IN ANY SENSE!!His bedside manner has something to be desired for as well as keeping the family informed!!I was in excruciating pain and he could've cared less!!

He did not have enough care and concern and no communication after getting my testing results on how to prevent further damage to my heart or prevent stroke. Office staff was the worse on returning calls or follow up. My negative experiences are too numerous to mention online.
