TWO MONTHS!!
I waited two months to get an appointment and was told by Dr. Torres that he needed to get approval from my insurance for treatment. It is now another two months and not only did I not get the approval, it was still not submitted by Dr. Torres or his staff! I contacted the office three times, and no one ever had the courtesy to call me back or explain. I will seek treatment from someone else. Very poor quality of staff and service even though recommended.

WORTH THE WAIT!
I had my initial visit with Dr. Torres today and it was excellent. It took awhile to get an appointment but it was worth it! Dr. Torres diagnosed the issue and prescribed the proper treatment and even helped to expedite it with my insurance.

Seemed like a decent enough doctor besides the fact he made a rude comment about my appearance (I'm a young woman). Stopped seeing him when I caught him telling someone who called him on my behalf that I was a hypochondriac despite the fact he was treating me for very real neurological issues. Misogynistic and ageist, honestly.

I find Dr. Torres to be knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough. He listens carefully and thoughtfully. He administered an EMG, and the procedure was practically painless. He explained what he was doing, and provided me with the results immediately and cogently. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Torres is an amazing doctor who is part of the NYU concussion center. He listens to my concerns and provides explanations to all my questions in a way that I can understand. He is very responsive and has helped provide me an improved quality of life.
