Wonderful wish he was not leaving. I had a very different experience. Have been seeing for over 2 years. I am morbidly obese and he treated me with respect. He even prescribed Gabapentin for my nerve pain that really helped. Also he began giving me the epidural injections which I had had before and often I had to go for series of three that sometimes helped and sometimes dod not. Dr Vilceanu would do 1 injection and was very effective each time. He could hit the correct spot to give me relief for 5 to 6 months. Would get in in a reasonable length of time. Since he is leaving I have now been waiting almost 2 months. Had to have an office visit with new Dr then he wanted new MRI and x-ray. Had to wait almost two weeks before it was scheduled now had the MRI 2 weeks ago and still have not heard about getting injection even after calling. Hoping new Dr can hit the correct spot. Office personnel have always been kind. Wish I knew where he was going and I would go there.

Did not know my medical history, Did not want to hear it from me. Told me I was fat and if I ate vegetables my broken back (3 surgeries) would not hurt anymore. Prescribed bipolar medication after I told him that I could not take those types of medications and they had no effect on my nerve impingement and post laminectomy syndrome he told me to go buy something from Walmart then. I would never return to this monster and worse yet he is a Professor at the Univ. Med School. Avoid this fraud!

Waited over a month for an appointment. Was told that my pain wasn't real . Didn't listen to anything i would say. When he did hear something he disagreed completely. I rescheduled for 1 month follow up the next day my appointment was canceled. (Email was sent to me) They waited 2 weeks to reschedule , then they did it once more. I have been on pain meds for too many years(10) and i asked him for his help to slowly taper down so i can minimize the withdrawal symptoms. Only to have a runaround

Doesnt listen to what you have to say, makes up ways to push you off on your PCP. Not a PM doctor just trys to push different diagnosis on you.
