If you're young and need a pacemaker stay away. Dr. White wanted to insert the PM under the skin, I am young and wanted it placed under the muscle or where it would not be seen. He kept wanting to do it the 'easy' way. Finally, had the surgery and because the leads looks as if they were not long enough had to go under a 2nd time. Then two weeks later the lead pulled out of my heart & I had to have a more skilled Dr perform the surgery all over again. This was the worst and most traumatic experience I've had. I DO NOT recommend seeing Dr. White or going to Boulder Heart. Go to a teaching hospital not here.

Dr. White is very kind, patient, and attentive while listening to my concerns and expresses genuine interest and acknowledgement of self-gathered data and symptom events. He also took careful consideration of my overall health issues, and we worked together on a plan for further treatment and investigation of what, hopefully, is either treatable or completely benign. He is extremely generous with his time, and I am comfortable with his assuming my case from the retiring Dr. Rogers.

I had a local cardiologist on the Western Slope and he did a cursory review of my health every time I went in for an annual checkup (6 month waiting list). Not pleased, I returned to Dr White and he scheduled me within two weeks. He spent time with me (and my wife) reviewing my history, BP readings, meds and immediately scheduled tests to establish a baseline. I was taking wrong meds, quickly corrected, every time I have a question I receive a rapid response. Could not ask for better doctor!!

I setup appointment for Dr White. 3 appointments handled by assistants and staff, never saw Dr White. Was setup for hospital cardiac procedure by Dr White. Arrived and preped by 5 medical staff. A guy professing to be Dr White came by for 30 seconds. I was wheeled into the procedure room and handled by medical staff. Woke up and went home for follow-up appointment. On that appointment, Dr White, I guess, came in and gave me my results. 5 minutes time start to finish w/ Dr White.
