Don't waste your time
I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment since this was my 'new patient' meeting with Dr. Spitzer. There was only one other person in the waiting room. The nurse brought me in to the exam room and had a lovely chat to update my file. After sitting in the room an additional 40 minutes, I asked the front desk if the doctor forgot about me. I was informed that Dr. Spitzer was on a virtual patient call that was scheduled for 30 minutes AFTER my appointment time. When the doctor finally came in she lied as to why she was late and offered an insincere apology. So, for a 10 minute doctor's visit, I sat in the exam room for over an hour.

The 1 star is for the nurses and staff - they are great. But as far as medical care, if you are sick you are made to wait 1 week or more for any appt. (even virtual) and told to go to urgent care instead. If your lucky enough to be seen and get medication that includes refills, she then denies the refill without contacting you and making you follow up after 2 weeks of no communication. Bedside manner has gone downhill. Look elsewhere for a PCP.

Doctor may be fantastic but when I make an appointment for 9:30 and arrive at 9:25, waiting for 15-20 minutes defeats the purpose of scheduling an appointment. Never again. Total waste of time.

Lengthy wait....as always. Nice bedside manner but be prepared to wait 45+ minutes each time, even for a scheduled appointment.

Excellent doctor! For over 12 years, I have trusted Dr. Spitzer to provide me with care and guidance. She is compassionate, caring and knowledgeable. Simply put, I will not tolerate poor "bed side manors", long wait times to see a doctor, doctors with "attitudes" and, most of all, incompetence. I have never experienced any of these issues with Dr. Spitzer. I highly recommend Dr. Spitzer.

Dr. Spitzer is a very thorough and caring doctor. Example: My husband and I have been patients of hers for 5 years and we were not feeling well. Besides checking on the obvious (diabetes, anemia) she decided to run a Lyme Disease blood test: We both had it! We both took antibiotics and are fine now, but it would never have occurred to us to check for Lyme. Great Doctor!

I was concerned that I might have a serious health condition, so I went to Dr. Spitzer for some tests. She ran blood tests and sent me to the hospital for another test. She told me to come in the next day to review both results. When I called first thing the next day, the receptionist said she had no appointments but she could have the doctor go over the results by phone that day. I called 3 times for my results and was told each time the doctor would call me back. She never did. Goodbye

No bedside manner that's for sure! she'd probably be okay for a physical or a cold but if you're in pain don't seek help, comfort or guidance with her!! You'll walk out feeling worse physically and emotionally! I regret going but my regular doc was booked up!

Dr. Spitzer is very knowledgable and will leave no stone unturned in order to get to the root of your problem. She cares about your health and what's best for you as a person. Many doctors are cold and uncaring but she listens and makes on point medical diagnoses. I'm always surprise at what she knows and I have recommended my mother and I have her treat my daughter who has severe autism which proves how much I trust her judgment.
