An outstanding physician!
I recently saw Dr. Helmick at Marshfield in Chippewa for my annual check-up. I am so happy that this most exceptional Doctor chose to join Marshfield. She had been my physician at Prevea until they folded their tent and left the town. I like Dr. Helmick. She is very kind, caring, and, most importantly, funny and one hell of a phenomenal physician.

Dr Helmick is a superb doctor. She spends time, explains thoroughly and shows care and knowledge. I would absolutely recommend her if looking for a doctor. I would give her 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

Appears to lack empathy
I went in to establish primary care. She was not patient, did not listen to the symptoms I was reporting and ordered unnecessary testing that my insurance didn't pay for and it didn't give her the results she was certain to find. It cost me thousands of dollars out of pocket. Did not appear to be empathetic as she rolled her eyes at me multiple times. Weirdest experience I've ever had with a provider, otherwise I wouldn't be leaving this review.
