Have recommended his services to others.
Very pleasant and thorough. explained details and asked if I had questions. Like his manner and honesty regarding procedure, effectiveness, possible side effects and follow up. Reviewed all previous history and offered recommendations and seemed genuinely concerned regarding treatment of current situation. I will continue to visit him for follow up visits.

I had the procedure on both of my hands 3 months ago; 5 days between procedures. I had to practically beg for them to let me see Occupational Therapy when the swelling was so bad, a month post-procedures, that my Physical Therapist noticed. They mislead you by telling you how fast you're going to heal; how you don't need sedation; no commitment after the procedure. They give you no restrictions after the surgery. They don't tell you that your hand will be wrapped like a mummy for 4-5 days after the procedure. There are no guidelines for post-procedure care. My hands are still swollen and there's no end in sight. I can't cut an apple without help. I can't open jars or twist-cap bottles. Turning keys is still difficult. Typing for more than a few minutes is painful. I'm wearing a wrist/hand brace on both hands for most of the day and all night while sleeping. Unless you are much luckier than I, don't have the procedure and go with the open-release surgery.

Dr. GUO does not listen to the patient. He may hear, but does not listen. My husband and I are frustrated every time we see him. He gets defensive and mad when we tell him my other doctors say it is his responsibility to tell them whatto use in the hospital to control my biliary attack pain. Because I was frustrated, I began crying and telling him I'monly relaying their message to him, he threatened to not see me any more. His ego is much bigger than his compassion
