Dr. Danyelle Tierney, DO

I highly recommend Dr. D Tierney she was my my PCP at Intermed she is very thorough and explains and communicates the issues going on also she is very kind.

Dr. Tierney was an insufficient provider. As a D.O,. I assumed she would have experience with a variety of types of patients. However, she did not seem capable of understanding what it meant that I am a gay woman. My wife birthed our child. I have never been pregnant. I was very clear about this simple fact. She repeatedly made disparaging comments about how I was medically irresponsible because I had not received prenatal care prior to the birth of my child. I am not sure how I could have boiled it down for her to make it simple enough for her to understand that if there are TWO WOMEN in a marriage, one of them can be a parent, and have NEVER been pregnant, therefore, never required prenatal care. She wouldn't let it go. Four times she made somewhat unprofessional comments about how I was irresponsible for not receiving prenatal care, and each time I re-explained that I was never pregnant. I hope she has reconsidered her practice since I saw her but please be cautious.
