Dr. Scheeler has been our family doctor for well over a decade and has treated many various medical issues for us over the years. She is an exceptional doctor and person. We drive over 3 hours to see her now and will continue to do so!

I've been seeing Dr. Scheeler for 10 years. I now drive almost an hour to any appointments with her (and I HATE driving). I do this because she is the BEST DOCTOR I've ever seen. Through a lot of ups and downs, she's been a steadfast advocate for my body - even when I've had trouble with that myself. Also, she's hilarious. Anyone who can make you laugh when you feel absolutely crappy gets a check-plus in my book.

Fitst, I am not an easy person to treat. I am highly reactive to drugs and allergic to many. When I am sick, its hard to find a treatment that I can tolerate. Dr Darcy has been a huge help to me. She listens and works with me to find a plan we can both agree on. Her confidence in me and support when times are tough is a huge relief. She steps up and takes control when other doctors have treated me like I'm just another run of the mill patient. If you need a doctor that will work with you in a partnership, she will help you. And she's worth the wait because she takes her time with her patients.

Dr. Scheeler is one-in-a-million!! The staff (Laura and Mindy) as well as Sara are all wonderful to deal with. I have and will continue to recommend Pinon to family and friends.

By PHONE Dr Darcy Scheeler responded quickly to my recent back spasm.( Saturday night ) The pain was excruciating but I was guided to take my older pain/ muscle relaxer meds and stayed at home. Calling Pinon after hours and followed up with my Dr T. Wilson on Monday. No Urgent care or ER. I will start PT tomorrow & my newly prescribed meds. Sam, Dr Wilson’s assistant also gave me a written referral for PT, since faxing failed. My Pinon team of healthcare professionals really helped me out! JH

My wife and I recently lost our PCP due to insurance changes with my employer. Dr. Scheeler was listed as a PCP that was accepting new patients and she had good reviews, so we listed her as our PCP. I tried to schedule an appt. for a physical and they said she isn't taking new patients. When I explained that my insurance indicates she is seeing new patients, the admin stated that that's because they have 3 Physicians Assistants that are seeing new patients. So, they're lying to get new patients.

Dr. Scheeler personally is excellent - extremely thorough, friendly and professional. The office staff, however, is a different story. Despite having been a patient for almost 15 years, no one on the staff, including PAs, RNs, etc. know who I am, respond with any urgency to ANY message, they delay prescription refills, NEVER have any positive or helpful advice. There are so many layers to get to Dr. Scheeler that it is very frustrating. She is very accommodating and fantastic - not the staff.

Dr. Scheeler is an amazing physician and person. I have been seeing her for over 5 years and have always felt like I was treated like a person not a patient. I live north of Denver and will happily drive 45 min. to see her. I trust Dr. Sheeler with every aspect of my health.
