Excellent Appointment-Highly Recommend
Excellent. My husband and I are new patients. My experience was wonderful. Dr. Tompkins was thorough, explained everything and very personable. He took the time to get to know me which was greatly appreciated. I also loved his nurse Doris!

Dr. Tompkins is the epitome of a professional, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. He diagnosed a life threatening illness that normally would have taken a specialist. He also diagnosed my Psoriatic Arthritis, sent me to Rheumatologist who confirmed and said I was fortunate that it was caught early. He caught a heart murmur in my husband leading to open heart surgery! In our house, we consider Dr. Tompkins a life saver!

Dr.Tompkins is always professional , friendly, listens and explains meds and treatments. He’s takes good care of me and my family great. Staff is very professional and competent and friendly. Fortunate to have this man in our town.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
My initial consult was rushed, not thorough, incomplete, and he reminded me that he had 4 more patients out in the waiting room. He insisted that I sign a contact for my scheduled prescriptions. He didn't trust me and I didn't trust him. Not the type of relationship one would wish for with a PCP. I wouldn't recommend this guy for inmates in the Texas Penal system. A complete waste of my time. A typical 'corporate' physician. I will NOT go back!

Poor coordination
Established patient for several years. Received numerous phone messages that I needed an appointment- during that time I changed to Medicare - when they learned that I had switched to Medicare his office told me they couldn’t see me for 5 months!
