This was in 2005 (ab. 15 yrs ago), but I still think it's worth mentioning as he looks like a perfect doctor here, when our experience was far from it. I was a teenager at the time and my younger brother went in with a really bad cough w/a lot of congestion. Dr. Bosworth casually told my mom that my brother's lungs sounded clear, and prescribed him a very strong cough syrup to help him sleep. We trusted him, and my brother took the syrup before bed that night. The next morning when it wore off, my brother hacked up enough mucus to fill the bottom of our KITCHEN SINK! There was AT LEAST 16 fluid ounces of snot! My brother almost DROWNED in his own bed! We went to Dr Goodwin after that and he definitely had pneumonia. Needless to say, my mother was furious! Maybe in his 6-7 yrs of practice he had never seen a kid with pneumonia, but I doubt it. I won't take my kids to see Bosworth. And I can't in good conscience recommend him after what I saw firsthand with my brother.
