I've tried scheduling at least 4 visits when I needed to see a doctor over the last year. Dr. Ramones was never available to see me or it was a 2-3 week wait before I could see her. She cancelled on me the day of visits and didn't notify me til I arrived in person. Each time I needed to see her, she referred me to urgent care instead. My worst experience with a physician I've ever had. I switched primary care physicians and would never recommend Dr Ramones to anyone.

1st appointment, worst experience. Doctor was extremely rude, condescending and told me I was going to die because I don't take care of myself. She made assumptions without asking my medical history. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to treat a cat. I cried the whole way home. I'll never go there again. I was just there for a physical and setup a new PCP. Won't be her!!!!!

While looking around Oahu for Doctor’s I had some friends speak highly of Dr Darlene Ramones and said I should go see her. She has a fantastic bedside manner and really takes the time to get to the bottom of what is ailing you! I wish more doctors these days took time to listen to patients needs, lucky for me, I found Darlene! I know she will be able to help me and my family here on Oahu for many years to come!

My experiences with Dr. Ramones are mixed. Sometimes she is good...she got to a dermo doc to get my skin cancer treated. But another time I was trying to tell her about an issue and the nurse open the exam door while I was in midsentence..and looked at me like times up, go away now. And another time she perscribed a med that she said i could get from one certain pharmacy. They billed my insurance 700.00. When I showed myregular pharmicist he said the pill was a simple pain killer and acid reducer...and he sells a similar one OTC for like 6 bucks . Very strange.

I recently changed my PCP to Dr. Ramones and couldn't be happier. She took time asking questions and giving me information that my previous PCP did not - bone density test, PT for my sciatica, etc. I was so looking forward to continuing to see Dr. Ramones, so you can imagine my shock and disappointment when I received a call the next day from the office to reschedule my follow up appointment with another doctor because Dr. Ramones was no longer there! They were not able to tell me where she went. I would love to find out where she is so I can continue seeing her.

I needed a PCM after relocating to the island last year. I am so pleased that I did not allow the negative reviews deter me from seeing Dr. Ramones. Her office staff was warm and friendly, they even gave my daughter a clip board with some scratch paper to draw on while I filled out my forms. When Dr. Ramones came in to speak with me she answered all of my questions and was a great listener. Even when talking about topics that were difficult or embarrassing she put me totally at ease. I'm thankful that I found Dr. Ramones and wouldn't listen to the negative reviews. A lot depends on your own attitude; if you put good out, you'll get it back.

Dr. Ramones gave me a Stage 3 diagnosis based on an unreliable blood test from two years ago. Then she walked out of the room as I was trying to ask what I should do about it. I researched the test results and consulted other doctors; found out she was in error. When I came back to tell her of how upset I'd been, she told me if I wasn't satisfied, I should go to another doctor. Her communication skills were zero. So was her medical knowledge, at least, in my case.

She rushes your check up. Says she'll be right back and never comes back. She's terrible at communication. She explains things semi-decently. Every time I've had to see her she's been pretty rude (made some unappreciated off handed remarks) and isn't personable at all. It's such a shame that she's one out of the only two doctors at the queens kapolei location. Please change your attitude to become more kind and caring towards your patients.

I've only met with Dr. Ramones once, to follow up after ER and specialty visits and is one of the better PCP I've met with. Although, after speaking to and trying to schedule an urgent appointment/request tests to be done with the staff, I feel like they really set her back in terms of ratings. They're wishy-washy. Some sound like they hate their jobs and working in healthcare means helping people. If you have no desire to do so, you shouldn't be working in a clinic. I hope they're replaced soon

I take my parents to Dr. Ramones and we have not experienced anything but what I would term as proper care. The receptionists have been helpful.

The clinic is a Filipino girls club. They ignore patients to talk to each other about gossip. I've been left in an exam room for long periods of time and can hear them gossiping right next to me. You can almost never get an appointment that isn't at least a month out. The receptionists are okay if they're focused on the patient. But also very rude if you're interrupting they're personal time by breathing.

She has a horrible attitude and is only focused on billing. She tries to bully you into having tests that you don't need. She doesn't listen to you, doesn't even say hello.
