Worst physician experience I’ve had. Didn’t examine or treat me. I seriously question this person’s ability to diagnose and treat patients.

Horrible, rude, dismissive Kept interrupting me when I would tell how and what I was feeling. Honestly look somewhere else before you go here. He was THE WORST.

Visited ER in Vail. Facility is IN NETWORK for my insurance but since Dr. Kay is "contracted" through the facility and is not a "participating provider" of my insurance, he's considered to be an OUT OF NETWORK provider and billed $1600 just for his 10 minutes of service. What a racket. I would give NW Emergency facility in Vail and Dr. Kay a big fat ZERO for honesty and morality. It's now up to you to figure out if each person who offers service to you is IN or OUT of your network.

I went to the ER in Vail AZ with mild to moderate discomfort in my right side (1/18). It turned out to be GERD that I am now treating with omeprazole. The ER treatment was coded level 5 and I was billed 1600 dollars. Dr Kay never followed up with me before I was discharged. In fact the RN who did my discharge paperwork asked me if Dr Kay had followed up, and I said no. The ER itself is in our network, but like so many Dr's groups today, they have their own company which is not in our network.

Saw Dr. Kay this morning after our pediatrician recommended a CT scan. Dr. Kay had a bad attitude when I told him what was going on and seemed very judgmental of our doctors recommendation. Not impressed with his bedside manner. Definitely made me feel like my concerns were for no reason, but as a mother I'd rather be safe than sorry when it comes to my child's health. The rest of the staff were very friendly and professional.
