Dr. Darren Klish and the entire team at Precision Cancer Care in Lawrence, Kansas, are great.The receptionist is friendly and efficient. Each time I met with Dr. Klish and Nurse Practitioner Miriam Slaugh, they listened carefully to what I had to say, answered questions, and thoroughly explained the treatment they proposed. And you could just talk to them about books, travel, life in general – which made the whole experience more comfortable. Where the rubber meets the road, the radiation techs knew what they were doing and got the job done with precision.Overall, one of the most competent, smooth-running medical offices at which I have received treatment. Highly recommended.

Dr. Klish set up radiation therapy after a brain tumor removal in fall of 2019. He and his team helped me through this ordeal and there has been no new activity with my tumor site, and none expected throughout 2022. Before the treatments and follow-up visits were anywhere close to being done, he very quickly became my favorite doctor ever, by far! I wish he could just be my primary doctor and specialist for literally anything... but of course that's not to be. He's very knowledgeable and patient when providing an extra set of eyes on my MRI history from KU Med. On top of that, he has a positive and practical outlook, and he's so caring, so personable, so friendly, and apologizes when he gets busy or has to step out for a minute to approve another patient's setup. Just literally the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever had... ever! I hope you don't need radiation therapy, but if you do, please see Dr. Klish.

Dr Klish was very informative and really seemed to care about his patients.Staff was very friendly and helpful.So happy that I could stay in my hometown for treatment. Would highly recommend this practice.

The Radiation and Oncology group in Lawrence is top notch. The technicians are friendly, prompt and very capable, as is the office staff. Both Dr. Klish and his nurse practitioner were accessible, supportive and truly invested in patient outcomes. A significant plus is their ability and willingness to coordinate closely with the LMH Cancer Center/Oncology group. This was incredibly helpful given that radiation and chemotherapy treatments were administered concurrently. In my circumstance I was referred elsewhere for surgery, but was happy to have had an opportunity to receive such terrific (and effective) care - without leaving Lawrence - for all other aspects of my treatment.

Dr. Klish and his staff provide quality care. He initially explained my situation and was very thorough. His staff explained everything as we went along. Over the treatment period of of 5 weeks I was very pleased with the professional staff and Dr. Lawrence is fortunate to have them in Radiation. I would certainly recommend Dr. Kliss and his staff.

Dr. Klish and his entire staff are exceptional professionals. They are positive, friendly, caring and take the time to get to know their patients. They greet you with a smile and always ask how your day is going. They see so many patients in a single day and it has to be somewhat trying to maintain the same enthusiasm and caring for each patient. My husband does not like going to the doctor, but he has kept a positive attitude about treatment. I believe that has been due to the wonderful people he encounters from the time he walks in the office to the time he leaves.

Dr. Klish and staff are very caring and efficient. They saved my life. Radiation therapy was/is my only option for treatment of my cancer. So grateful it is available locally.

Dr. Klish and his staff provide timely, quality care. His explanations of my tumor was thorough and caring. I don't think we ever had to wait more than five minutes and his staff explained everything as we went along. When it came to making our decision as to where we wanted to obtain our radiation treatments, we first visited with Dr. Klish and then KUMC. It was the right choice to get it in Lawrence.

The doctors nurses and radiologist were excellent they make you feel like your in the best hands during this life journey. They explained before anything was ever done .again I can't thank them enough.

It is very fortunate that we have this high quality facility in our Lawrence community. I was able to have my radiation treatments as well as my chemo in Lawrence. I was able to keep working in Topeka throughout the treatments. I will have my surgery at KU Med in Kansas City. All the staff in Lawrence were great to work with. Dr. Klish did a wonderful job of explaining the process I would go through. The staff at KU Med show high regard for Dr. Klish and Dr. Stein, a real confidence builder.

My breast cancer surgery and doctors were at KUMED. I am from IL and KUMED was recommended to me by friends living in Lawrence. I am staying with these friends while going through treatment. When I discussed radiation with Dr Mitchell (radiation oncology) at KUMED, I asked about receiving radiation in Lawrence because of the convenience. Dr Mitchell said that she had trained with Dr Klish, that he was an excellent Dr and that I would be in good hands. She was right. Dr Klish was great!

I was impressed with his personality and I thought he treated me as his only patient. It did a lot to answer any questions I had. I thought he had a professional attitude without the stiffness and self-important attitude some professionals develop. I was favorably impressed with all the staff I encountered in my radiation treatments.

Dr. Klish was super. He explained things in layman terms and had plenty of time for questions. He was very through and made sure I knew what was going on in the procedures.
