He falsified my medical records and treated me like a junkie. Told me he knew I had pancreatitis and that he wasn't going to treat it. When my ride showed up, he asked what his relationship was. I told him it was my boyfriend. He asked how long we had been together, I said four years. He then told my boyfriend everything in my medical records going back three years without my permission. I asked to speak to an administrator or patient advocate and he refused. I will be filing a lawsuit for HIPAA violations. He is the worst doctor I've ever dealt with. Went to another ER immediately after leaving and they said i could have died since my lipase and amylase were off the charts.

Went to the ER and immediately seen. Dr. Larusso gave me thorough examination, went over my history, ordered every possible test to assure accuracy of diagnosis. I have extensive medical issues. Came in with fever, fatigue, laboured breathing and coughing, dehydrated.. Dr. Larusso expected pneumonia and was correct. Treated me immediately. X-ray was in my room right after he left the room, I went no where. My nurse, all of staff was amazing! Dr. Larusso called me two days later to check on me!

I went into the ER after having severe abdominal pain for over a week. I visited my primary doctor first, she was concerned and said I needed imaging done on my abdomen, that it could be my gall bladder or something worse. I waited for over two hours without being visited by the MD. Finally he came in and admitted he had not even reviewed my chart or test results yet. I explained my pain and he didn't seem to take me seriously or explain what it could be. He said 'I don't know' and sent me away.

My husband was diagnosed in the emergency department by Dr. La Russo for pulmonary emboli and DVTs and later for a diabetic ulcer necessitating surgery. He was thorough, pleasant, and had a good sense of humor despite the tremendous pressures of a busy ED. The first four questions below do not apply.

Larusso was the ER M.D. when I took my three year old in for Urinary pain. He was great with her directly and He personally called me three days after we left to see how she was doing. There should be more doctors like him.
