I would not recommend Dr. Adelberg to anyone. During my appointment with him, he was dismissive and rude. He asked me a question, which I answered and when I tried to further explain a contributing condition, he said "that was a yes or no question" and would not allow me to speak. He decided that an MRI was called for, but would only order it, if I guaranteed to agree to having a procedure. Both of these moments were highly unprofessional. I have since found a fine Dr. at University Orthopedics who listens, explains, and cares.

I have seen Dr Adelberg twice now. My first impression was very positive. He speaks the patient's language. I understood everything. Second time- even better. My knees are getting the treatment they need..one step at a time. He does not go right into surgery mode. He tries less invasive procedures first. Really like he is timely on appointments, and has a wonderful demeanor. 5 stars!

Dr. Adelberg reminds me of the 'old school' family Doctor who will literally make house calls. Warm, energetic, very well spoken in explanation, and prefers to leave surgery as a last resort. Many Ortho types today are quick to line up surgical procedures for what ails, however this doesn't apply to Dr. A. His communication is exceptional, and he shows he genuinely cares, and reviews your case with a level of personal attention I'm not accustomed to. -Meaning he's very engaged! Says a lot!!!

Chauvinistic attitude from Dr. Adelberg at both visits. Insisted on calling me honey which was rude and belittling and told me two entirely different things about my condition while rushing me out, didn't answer questions satisfactorily but gave his unsolicited opinion on other things. Highly inappropriate and a waste of time seeing him.
