Misinformed
I was admitted to WMC 3 yrs ago with cardiac issues, when I went to ER with what I thought to be covid or respiratory infection. He came in my room and told me I was too young a woman to have cardiac issues. I was 55. I now have 3 cardiologists at WVU medicine, Wheeling Hospital. Have pacemaker with defib. I have so many cardiac issues I need heart transplant. Cant be done because of severity of pulmonary hypertension. And we wonder why so many women die of heart disease.

Dr Applegate listens. He is genuinely interested, and remembers 'the little things', so that his diagnosis and plans for treatment are exact. Kind, caring. compassionate - I recommend him highly.
