Do not go to Dr Blady
Recently was not feeling well. Called him bc I have a shunt since birth . Brushed me off . Ending up in ER needing a new shunt ! Please do not go to him. I asked for scans for years and he did not give them toMe only visual work ups and testing .i feel like this whole situation could have been avoided. When I wasn’t feeling well recently he said call me in two weeks but I knew something was wrong so I went to er needed a new shunt as stated and never once did he call to check on me as I know his on call system was called when I was in ER. I give himA very poor rating

'Quirk' is not a diagnosis
After giving a very specific and long description of symptoms, and a rudimentary exam, I was told 'we all have quirks' as the result of the consult. Very dismissive. Told me he couldn't say what dosage of medication to take - that I should try it out. Horrible experience. Save your co-pay.

Good doctor
Dr. Blady and his staff were lovely. Dr. Blady was thorough and thoughtful, and his staff worked with me to get an appointment quickly even with the doctor's full schedule.

Look elsewhere
Terrible horrible horrific bedside manner. Unless you are having a seizure in front of this man’s eyes, he will refuse to help you. Extremely unpleasant. Worst dr ever.

Unless you’re dying find someone else
Every single visit was a fight to get him to remember symptoms, test results, and severity that were discussed in the same appointment. Did not know how to send in prior authorization, and that is needed for most medications that are not over the counter. Refused to explore new medication options, probably because he’s clearly uneducated when it comes to prescribing medications. From other reviews it appears he only does his job when you’ve been diagnosed with a life threatening condition before your first appointment with him.

My wife was seeing Dr. Blady. His deskside manner is atrocious. He gives no explanations for what he is doing and gives the impression we are wasting his time. I was his patient for a short time and quit him. I'm encouraging my wife to find help elsewhere. I work with doctors on a day to day basis and see the best and the worst. This one is among the worst. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I am seeing doctor Blady since 2004 when I was diagnosed with Parkinson's. This doctor helps me a lot, he not only subscribes medication, but makes me feel better by encouraging, because of him I know that this is not the end of the world, you have to fight for your life and believe in yourself. He is very supportive and caring.

Dr Blady is just as rude as he is arrogant. Shows absolutely no compassion for those under his care. I wrote him some emails complaining about his demeanor. He reported me to SMG and now I am banned for life from SMG neurology. Yes I was rude and insulting in my emails. He deserved every word said. But is this an appropriate response? Taking it too far. He's Dr. House personified. Less the talent and ability.

I really like Dr. Blady himself but trying to get an appointment is ridiculous. I've been calling and sending emails for a while now and they never have an appointment to suit my availability. I spoke to a woman today in his office, must be someone new and she was so nasty. I've been looking for other doctors but no one is open past 4pm. I will suffer now with out my medication because I can't get an appointment.

Very uncaring and condescending Dr. I went in with so much neck pain and vertigo I had been experiencing for months, tested for Lyme disease, then did a standard neurological work up. My husband explained to him I have such a high pain tolerance and I never complain unless it's bad, something must be going on, his response was "we all get aches and pains when we get older, come back in 6 weeks! I left in tears. Never would I recommend him to anyone!! Charged a ton to insurance for 10 minutes!

Very arrogant and unfriendly, 5 minutes for a visit that cost over $300. Took a tissue touched my eyeball and said just don't be lazy and massage your face in your pajamas. I had Bell's Palsey.
