Excellent experience
Dr. Brown was just what a doctor should be. He discussed, he explained, he listened to me, & addressed my concerns. He was frank & honest about both the treatment I needed & what my expectations ought to be. I have confidence in Dr. Brown.

Good experience
Everyone in the front office was kind and friendly and helpful. The staff was professional and very pleasant. Dr. Brown was professional and vey knowledgeable. He took time to show me what normal was and how mine differed from the norm. He spent time explaining treatment options and encouraged least invasive first before moving toward surgery. I was impressed and thankful for his expertise.

Bad morning 10232024
CONA is a very good facility! As for Dr. Brown, extremely smart, experienced, explanatory of my “deformity”, and seems to be kind natured. But I guess his bad morning led over into my appointment with him, and it definitely set the stage for almost what became a matched energy for sure, but I chose to keep my composure, because I could relate to his issue. However, I didn’t appreciate how dismissive Dr. Brown was relating to the pain I’ve experienced due to my car accident. He was very adamant that it was my “deformity” and not my car slamming into an 18 wheeler’s rim tire hands at 10&2 having any impact whatsoever. He said I was going to experience pain regardless, and sent me on my way with a prescription. There’s a lot more, but I could only type 1000 words. Very disappointing appointment.

Highly recommend
I have RA and my fingers are affected the most. The joints that were so painful, Dr Brown performed surgery to “clean out” the arthritis and fuse the joint with pins. There was instant relief. He has done 2 fingers so far, and I’m having another one done when they call to schedule. He offers options and explains each one. The visits are always pleasant. He’s very knowledgeable and has a great personality. I would recommend him to anyone who has very painful joints like I do. Not only do my fingers feel better, they are now straight again. That’s a plus! Dr Brown is an excellent orthopedic doctor.

Left wrist & thumb pain
I was pleased with the treatment I received. The injection was painful but if it stops my pain worth it. Wait time was long to get fitted for my brace.

Dr. Brown was very compassionate when I explained that I needed to wait to have surgery because my husband had been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and I am his caregiver. So he gave me another shot to hold off for a few months.Thank you Dr, Brown

Dr Brown is a superior surgeon
My shoulder was shattered last year, requiring a reverse shoulder replacement consisting of upward of 5 pieces. I have regained strength and flexibility to close to full measure. Xrays showed the replacement titanium parts are in perfect location and tightly in place so are likely to last a lifetime. Doctor did it perfectly.I would also say the office is efficient and friendly. Appointments were on schedule. Truly an A+ experience.

Excellent Orthopedist!
Dr. Brown is the best. He’s very conservative in his approach to treatment and doesn’t push surgery right away, which is what I love. He also explains in detail what the underlying issues may be. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Brown was very thorough and explained my problem in terms that I understood. He explained treatment options to me and while I was there, he injected 2 fingers and told me when I was ready, to return for 2 more injections. He could only do 2 at a time. I was very satisfied with my treatment!

A GREAT Doctor!
After reviewing x-rays ( that his talented x-ray techs got perfect views), Dr. Brown assured me that my wrist was healing as expected. There was much damage from a 30 year old break, but he assured me that as long as I was as functional as before the current break, further surgery would not be needed. A great visit!

Patient
Dr. Brown is very professional, and highly skilled in problems with shoulder pain, rotator cuff tears and painful arthritic-caused shoulder, hand, wrist and finger conditions. He assessed the medical conditions, gave a medical diagnosis and prognosis, and explained things very well regarding causes for my pain, then gave me choices for remedying my painful shoulder, fingers and hands.

My initial visit with Dr. Brown we looked at the MRI and he detailed what he anticipated the repairs to be made and also mentioned he will handle new issues revealed during the operation. This built my confidence to get the shoulDder surgery . Realistic recovery time tables were revealed. After 10 weeks post I'm enjoying near previous movement and increasing strength daily with soreness only due to exercising. I highly recommend Dr.Brown!

Pinched nerve “really”
Writing this review on behalf of my wife. My wife was having very intense pain in her left shoulder; had an MRI (recommended by another doctor) which showed a torn labrum. She got an appointment with Dr. Brown and during the visit, he never touch her shoulder and told her it was a pinched nerve. Basically a “brush-off. This was already contrary to the radiologist report. He set her up for physical therapy which seemed to amplify the pain. She even tried dry needling, with no results. She called another Orthopedic surgeon, who not only did a complete motion analysis, and talked to her in detail. He agreed with the radiologist report. She had surgery this past week. The surgeon found two tears in the labrum, two bone spurs plus bursitis. He repaired everything and she is recovering. I find it difficult to believe that Dr. Brown didn’t even lay a hand on my wife’s shoulder and looked at the MRI and diagnosed a pinched nerve. Not very thorough. Would not recommend.

Carpal Tunnel Diagnosis
Dr. Brown allowed me to speak about my condition with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and the holistic problems I was having with both hands, even the one that showed no nerve problems in a previous nerve conduction study. Dr. Brown encourages me to seek a Neurologist about my dilemma as medical tests on his end cannot detect what was causing only one of my hand to show carpal tunnel and the other looks normal in spite of both hands being problematic for me, as I drop things because I can't judge my level of grasping things. Dr. Brown gave me an injection for carpal tunnel and am awaiting to hear from Dr. Brown's office to ask me about any relief the injection have given me. Just typing this review on my phone is difficult to do with my hands. I'm thinking that there may indeed be a neurological disorder associated with my problems, as my speech is occasionally disrupted in that I can't always say a word that I'm clear about saying in my mind -- but speech wise, I can't get it out. We'll see
