Dr. David Bruce, DO

Dr Bruce is an excellent doctor in many ways. I have seen this doctor for close to 18years. My condition was complicated and he was always there to figure things out. My life has been extend because of this doctor. I can't say enough good things. He listened well and gave me all the time that I needed . Thank you Dr. Bruce for being my doctor.

Each year my company requires a physical, it is a wellness check and there is to be no cost to me but they charge me every single year and I fight it and they say 'I must have asked questions to the Dr. which is outside of the 'free visit' -- which is garbage. Long waits in the lobby, long waits in the exam room so don't be in a hurry

Dr. Bruce is fantastic, listened to all I had to say. He is a 5 star DR in my opinion highly recommend.

My now 93-year old mother was the first in our family to have been seen by Dr. Bruce. Now my mom, my husband, my brother, my best friend who just moved here, and I all see Dr. Bruce for our medical care. Dr. Bruce is an eminently approachable and knowledgeable physician. He not only listens but takes to heart what his patients have to say. He and his Assistant, Maria, literally saved my husband's life by personally calling us to tell us that my husband's bloodwork showed a life threatening situation and we needed to get to the hospital ASAP. We did and my husband's life was saved by the doctors, nurses, and staff at Banner Gateway Hospital. LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Bruce and Maria. Brown Road Family Medical Center also have helpful and competent staff. Dr. Bruce is my doctor of choice for the duration.

I’ve been to Brown Road Family Medicine for years. I was originally a patient of Dr.Bruce. He is knowledgeable and friendly and does go recommended. Felt acknowledgement was more of a “uh-huh” (verification of “active” listening unsure of genuine care behind this but not a bad doctor.) I personally had switched over to Jeremy Derickson, PA-C at this practice. Jeremy is the practitioner that is upfront, knowledgeable but visits are short. He is like an honest car mechanic would be that you’d want despite good or bad news. I joke and call him a “body mechanic”. He had made WONDERFUL recommendations with OTC and made a world of a difference in my life. Don’t like blunt honesty? This practitioner is not for you. Brown Road scored a gem with him in my eyes! Reason for 4 stars not 5; Cons: This office does not take AHCCCS UHC. Medical records need to be picked up at the office.

Both my son and I have seen Dr. Bruce for years, and now my elderly mother, my sister, and her entire family also use him as their PCP. His bedside manner is fantastic, I never feel rushed or pressured during my conversations with him, and he always takes the time to listen. I appreciate that he continues his education on a regular basis and it makes me feel confident that I'm always receiving the most up-to-date information and treatments.

I have seen many doctors since moving to Mesa. When I found Dr. Bruce my search was over, he is so easy to talk to and he listens to me. His answers are easy to understand.
