Highly Recommend this surgeon and this practice
I have had several MOHS procedures with Dr. David Byrd. Not only is he a very thorough and skilled surgeon, but he also has an excellent bedside manner. His staff is also very friendly and caring. Dr. Byrd's receptionist Carol recently went above and beyond to address my needs. Both Megan and the other nurse who assisted my most recent surgery were very thorough and friendly. In addition, Kari is always very personable whenever I am there. I highly recommend this practice as they treat you as a person and not a number.

Dr Byrd did the first mohs surgery on my nose about 11 yrs before, of course I went back for this surgery on my cheek love him, very professional, friendly, doesn’t get in a hurry. attentive to your needs. His MOHS pamphlet lets you know what to expect and I’m in no hurry, they’re very busy, and I can wait for my time. The staff are friendly and willing to help. The nurses are wonderful. I recommend Dr. Byrd’s practice and expertise to everyone.

Dr.David Byrd did Mohs surgery on my face for basal cell skin cancer. He did a fantastic job and the scar is barely visible. It took 4 attempts to get all the cancer out to get clean margins, but all the cancer is gone and my face looks great.I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Byrd did a visual inspection of my many moles and it seemed like he did a thorough job. I would go back. He did have an intern that was following him and asked if this was ok. I was fine with it.

I would highly recommend Dr. Byrd and his team. I had MOHS surgery for a skin cancer on my forehead and just over two weeks it looks great. He is a very talented Surgeon, the wound required three inches of stitches and staples which were removed about 7 days after the procedure, it required a another week of steri-strips. His assistants were all extremely efficient, professional and friendly, they were great with the follow up questions and I could not be happier. Did I mention that Dr. Byrd sets the example for his staff... great guy!

Dr. Byrd exhibited a preference for quantity over quality when Dr. Byrd performed Mohs surgery on me. That day I saw 10-12 other patients scheduled for surgery that same morning. I was there for over 6 hours. I was attended by Dr. Byrd for a total of no more than 20-30 minutes. I was prepped and waiting for over an hour for stitches to close the wound. I had over 20 injections of Lidocaine. Unfortunately Dr. Byrd did not administer them because I was cauterized in areas unmediated. No more.
