Dr. David Carmack, DPM

Dr. Carmack is brilliant! I was blown away the amount of time he spent throughly examining my foot & explaining my condition. He went through his recommended solutions and we came up with an effective treatment plan while considering my lifestyle and other health factors. His compassion, knowledge, and bedside manner are unmatched. His staff is warm and incredibly helpful. Tara got me in for a next day appointment and checked me in immediately so I had zero wait time. I am so grateful for the care I received from Dr. Carmack and his team. 10/10 recommend!

My 86 year old husband sees Dr Carmack. He went in to get his toes nails trimmed. Dr Carmack talked to us about the problems my husband is having. As soon as the appt was over, the doctor said he was calling our primary care doc. Then Dr Carmack ordered medication and a home health visit for therapy. My husband is doing so much better. Dr Carmack went above and beyond. I can’t say how much he is appreciated. He’s a wonderful and caring doctor.

I can’t say anything short of another totally awesome visit ! All of the staff are so friendly and caring. I wish I had all of my doctor needs met by Dr Carmack. He is such a kind , caring, calm, very knowledgeable Dr. His smiling disposition lights up the room ! He fixed my issues once before , and once again. My name is Mark Venghaus. I met Dr. Carmack after a visit to the emergency room at Ascension Seton Highland Lakes in Burnet TX. I was very impressed with him as person and his knowledge as a physician. All of the nurses and staff spoke very highly of him and his skill as a surgeon. I am 63 years old and have never had surgery or spent time in a hospital. Dr Carmack and his team assured me that I would be taken care of completely and I was certainly not disappointed. He is a good man and competent physician/surgeon. I have nothing but good to say about him, the nurses, his surgical staff, and the whole hospital experience. He's an awesome Doctor for your feet. Very friendly. Easy to talk to. Very caring person as well as a Doctor. I will and have recommend him.

After seeing multiple podiatrists for my collapsed feet, I was told no one would operate on me except to amputate. Dr. Carmack listened carefully to my history. As he examined my feet, he told us everything he was thinking and recommended surgery. One foot became severely infected before surgery. Dr. Carmack performed 2 surgeries on that foot and then corrected my other foot. I now wear regular shoes and walk well. His expertise, integrity and compassion make him the best doctor I’ve ever known.

Doc Carmack is great, he is very knowledgeable, attends medical conferences to expand his knowledge and has an awesome personality. I highly recommend him as your doctor.

If you are in need of podiatry in any form there is no doctor in Texas that is a better choice than Dr. David Carmack! I thought he was so great during my first visit that I scheduled a major foot repair with him even knowing I would be driving all the way from Abilene many times. It was one of the better decisions of my life. I met many other patients and all of them also love Dr. David. His personality is perfect for what he does and he loves his patients! It's great to find a doctor who cares

I must say that Doctor Carmack is the one doctor that I look forward to seeing. He is such a cool guy!
