This man does not have a good bedside manner
After I had a colonoscopy/endoscopy, he never came back to give me the results. He didn’t even talk to my friend or introduce himself to her. Then his office called me to go for a pill endoscopy to make sure I wasn’t having microscopic bleeding from my small intestines. I was trying to find out why I have low iron. A day later the office called me to tell me that I didn’t need the procedure because everything was normal. Then they proceeded to cancel my telehealth visit for the following week so I could not ask him questions. He is the rudest, most apathetic doctor, I ever met. He even told me I should follow up with my Colon Rectal surgeon, who is not a Gastro and doesn’t deal with low iron issues. Stay away from this man or you’re going to wind up without answers.

Dr. Carr-Locke all class!!!!
Dr. Carr-Locke and the cornell team was excellent performing POEM on me. It's only been 5 days since my procedure and I'm feeling almost normal again. So truly grateful for his care. His follow up was warm & caring. I was battling stomach issues for 6-8 months. But with the top notch insight of the Cornell medical team of Dr. Philip Katz who diagnosed my issues first hand. And then recommend me for the POEM. He put me in the best hands!!!! thank you thank you & all love to the Cornell-Wells staff.

An excellent physician who takes his time to thoroughly listen and fully examine. Treats with great care and responds to calls even when not in office. Saved my mother’s life when other doctors overlooked her complaints and neglected to fully assess my mother’s serious issues. We are so grateful we made a “second opinion” appointment with Dr Carr Locke. He is the BEST for GI!

Dr. Carr-Locke is a true gentleman. Excellent bedside manner and is one of the best at what he does. His record speaks for itself. He truly cares for his patients. He helped relieve severe symptoms my mother was experiencing when nobody else would help. He became my doctor as well and is one of the best at doing colonoscopies. Very detail oriented. Would recommend.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Carr-Locke?
Dr. Carr-Locke is disinterested, unfocused and unsympathetic. I went to see him for a fairly uncommon condition, but one which he claims to be familiar with. But after two visits, tests and weeks of waiting for a plan of treatment, he said to seek psychiatric treatment for an eating disorder. This is just his way of saying he was out of his depth. There are other truly top notch GI's in NY. There is no reason to see this one.

Carr-Locke was recommended to me by another GI doc that no longer did colonoscopies. The procedure went ok, or so I thought. Afterwards I was expecting Carr-Locke to speak to tell me how the procedure went, which has been the case in any other procedure I’ve had. I was told while recovering from general anesthesia that I would have to go back into the waiting room, with the general public, to hear how it went. I sat there, feeling groggy, for 20 minutes. Then I was told that he had back to
