Never knocked coming in the room and it didn’t feel like a doctors visit. He seemed like he wanted to b in and out and didn’t want to answer my questions.

Avoid if you are can
After a referral by my primary (who I trust) it took me 3 months to get an appointment. I arrived at 8.55a for a 9.30 appointment. I completed the 9 pages of input forms (mostly duplicate info) and waited until 9.50 in the waiting room. They then moved me to an exam room where I sat alone for 45 minutes. I left the room and spoke to a gentleman at the desk (I did not know he was Dr. Chang). I explained it had been well over an hour since my appointment time and asked what was going on. Dr. Cheng’s ONLY reply was; “So?” And just sat there and looked at me. ARROGANT, INCONSIDERATE, RUDE, UNCARING ABOUT HIS PATIENTS.

UNPROFESSIONAL (one star is way too many for Dr.)
Arrived at appt 30 mins early. Filled out paperwork. 30 mins past my appt time brought back to a room and left there for 45 mins. Came out and saw Dr Cheng sitting with a nurse just talking away. When I told them I have been waiting in the exam room for 45 minutes, the Dr said 'so' we are busy and will get to you eventually. Will never go back.

Dr Chen is one of the best doctors you can ever have! He is so experienced and accurate in medicine. He is so patient and explain the procedures, after surgery care etc. I am 82 years old, allergic to many medicines – but could not remember what they are. When Dr Cheng suggested me to have surgery in Nov. 2021, I was hesitated and wanted to have the stone out by medicine. The extra one month’s Flomax did not make any improvement. Though many people said they took such Flomax for years without problem, its side effect brought me trouble: the muscle on my legs were relaxed and I could not walk well. I felt my heart did not pump well. I called the clinic in Dec and Dr. Cheng is so nice and add me into the surgery list before Christmas! He and the surgery team did great work! He prescribed 7 tablets antibiotic. It is amazing! No refill needed, no tablet left. I recover very well. Just as he told me. He is an excellent doctor! Take his suggestions.

My primary physician sent me to Dr. Cheng after an ultra sound showed a potential problem in my right kidney and because I had experienced constant pain in my right side for months. Dr. Cheng ignored my complaint regarding the constant pain and stated that there was nothing he could find that caused it. A few weeks later I ended up in Candler ER and had to have an emergency removal of a 9mm stone which had also caused hydronephrosis.

I had RPLND surgery to remove what was left of a tumor after chemo. This is a major, involved surgery that not all urologists can do, but Dr. Cheng has performed many of them. The surgery went very well, & Dr. Cheng himself came in to check on me every day that I was in the hospital afterwards. He even called me to make sure I was still doing well the day after I came home. He also has a great sense of humor. Excellent, caring surgeon. Would definitely recommend, especially for RPLND surgery.

Very aloft and indifferent to suffering of his patients. If his way of doing things does not help you than too bad. Only cares about the 90% of patients that respond to basic treatment. Those other 10% can just suffer and die.
